Just bought the OG DOOM games on my new PS5 and can't for the life of my figure out where the "legacy hype" has come from. Are these games supposed to be this clunky and shitty? The map makes no sense, the aiming is totally broken and the secrets are obtuse as fuck compared to 2016 and Eternal which I played and adored.
Why are these games so shitty and how do so many people like them?
