I like Fez as a piece of art, I really don't like it as a game. It plays itself. Platforming isn't just platforming, there's creativity to be had beyond go here, then here, then here, then this activates, then you win.
The puzzles at the end of the game and the hidden easter-eggs make it better, but I really wish more of the game was like that rather than a handful of secrets.
