The most disappointing part is that it could have been great, but it cut the story to just have the single player be bot-matches.
Then the map-design was generally bad.
The movement was simultaineously under used AND too good to give up because:
The heavy weapons were garbage and the only difference between the classes health-wise was a single, un-upgraded SMG bullet. In a game where allies can have their guns buffed to two levels depending on the engies' build.
With the second bringing TTK down to Counter-Strike levels.
It could have been good, and I had fun in the two comp-matches my group did. But, the devs fucked everything up.
The only ones that disappointed me were the ones that were half-finished and rushed to meet a release date
Destiny, all of it.
First game is okay it just has all the lore ripped out of it.
My normalfag family friend had this game in his room when we were younger. I asked him about it since it was sitting there and he said it was absolute shit. What I'm trying to get at is, why do normalfags buy shit games?
This is the game that taught me that people market on Zig Forums, very important lesson
Don't forget how laggy the servers were on launch and that there were no pregame lobbies
When will D3 come out, if it's even a possibility? At what price is D2 worth getting? Which are the essential DLCs?
It was ahead of it's time in a funny way. Back then it bombed and everyone hated it, but now with Twitch it would at least go the route of Valorant because we just blindly follow what media creators are putting out.
the cinematic trailer was kino but as soon as i saw gameplay i knew it was gonna be shit and never bought it. most disappointing game ive bought is a tie between fallout 4 and guild wars 2. going from new vegas to f4 and from gw1 to gw2 felt like breaking up with a supermodel and marrying a landwhale
i took time off work to vacation to a friend's house a few states away and LAN this game on release. i feel your pain
I'm guessing it's because they do absolutely no research into the games they pay full price for. I don't understand how anyone can do that
>games for windows live
Why did they ever think this was a good idea. I remember Dark Souls 1 originally used this shit too.
I got to sit that out, because I had the video card brand that it would immediately CTD with.
Think it was a full week before they sorted -that- mess.
Which is just another thing in the "devs fucked EVERYTHING up" column.
Wasn't a piece of shit but was definitely disappointing. Last time my dumb ass pre-ordered anything.
trash gameplay enjoyable story
>new vegas
>supermodel
Talk about having this low of a standard
Also 30FPS lock unless you were a server host that bypassed the problem. And a buggy fucking launch, among numerous other problems like the AI being too incompetent to handle most objectives when they're on your team.
I bought this game, it immediately fucking crashed and refused to ever do anything beyond popping up an error box talking about my video card. I was insanely disappointed for the next week and moved on with my life. Then two or three years later when I had a far better and modern PC I reinstalled it purely out of curiosity just to see what I missed out on and it still never booted beyond an error screen so I never bothered beyond that.
I've owned this game for nearly a decade now, literally all I know is that by word of mouth it's pure shit and I STILL don't have a single clue what it even looked like ingame or what the gameplay was like and I'm not sure if I'm lucky for that or not.
spore. fuck team cute
I remembered going to GameStop and seeing people return their copies of Brink because the game was so bad. I remembered a friend of mine that was working there at the time told me that 10+ copies of the game got returned per day. Brink was one of those games that were hyped and ended up being a disappointment on release that the game fell silent. This is why I avoid big hyped titles nowadays and only get hyped on smaller, niche titles..
It was honestly good in my opinion. The main problem was the framerate. Man, the framerate was bad. Awful. Ruins my combos on the regular.
Fuck you for reminding me. Was as bad as Frontlines: Fuel of War
yes, the best rpg ever made is indeed a vidya supermodel
this game really was a phenomenon in how universally disappointing it was
The only memory I have of that game is back after it came out I was hanging out with this girl I was friends with and her boyfriend at her house. Her boyfriend was playing it and trying to get her to watch but she wasn't interested and instead we excused ourselves and ended up fucking in the basement while her little brother hung out with him instead. I still talk with her even today lol.
it wasn't that bad a game just the retarded sp shit is what ruined it.
I mean, it was a really fun game overall.
I remember playin this on xbox.
I didnt play many FPSs back then, only the usual BO Zombies and such.
But man, i played this at a friends house and it just
Felt
Horrible
Everything about it was absolute trash.
