Was thinking of trying it out but then heard there has been a content drought for quite a while and they were rerunning old events. Also heard the drop rates were atrocious when you roll/pull for stuff. Killed all my interest. That and Genshin is too fun.

>spend 5 figures on this game
>start having panic attacks that over the thought of the devs pulling the plug soon

We need a fate game that is a fighter or plays like tenkaichi or something. So many great characters for a game like this.

>So many great characters
>fgo
Nice joke, almost believed it myself

Genshinbros... WE WON!

Dead Island 2 and Beyond Good and Evil 2 are forgotten you dumb nigger

It was cool, for a while but the gameplay is just utter garbage. Get to work on making a real game DW.

Cope harder, fgo tranny

It will be 100% in the second half considering all the players went to play a better game, or should I say and actual game

Chinese gacha games are genuinely better experiences than Japanese gacha games. I don't know why you'd get ass fucked in a game like FGO when you could just play Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact, Girls Frontline, and Azur Lane. Not that I actively endorse playing gacha, but at least Chinese ones don't waste your time AS much while somehow having better gameplay. It's literally the one thing China does better than Japan.

genshin set the new standards, simply selling moving jpeg cutouts won't cut it anymore

How much of that is the money they're wasting on this inevitable trash fire

wow you spent $100.00 on it user, i'm impressed.

Good riddance

>Meanwhile GBF will have a kimetsu no yaiba (the most popular anime/manga right now) event next month
It's our time granbros

damn. Guess they're in trouble. Don't worry, once my next pay check comes in, I'll drop it on the next banner.

About time this shit game ends service

Stop being Asian, nobody should be funding those shitty gacha rates.

Do you think we could ever get a Genshin Impact anime?

LOL

>profit drops massively
>but the game's revenue is still about the same level
Well, they're definitely pumping that missing money into SOMETHING, then.

Besides Atlantis part 1 and 2, and summer, what the fuck else content have they released this year?

Seen suggestion they could have also lost out of the game income from Covid canceling events but I don't know how much DW gets from that stuff compared to Type Moon and Aniplex.

Mind you we're only talking about $10m so a lot of that easily can be Sakura Kakumei development costs too.

TBF I don't think Nasu had any sort of idea how massive FGO would become at the start.

I used to rule the world...

fuck all mobile game

Yeah it's about $50m disappearing into the ether, so it's likely that's being spent on some kind of game development I reckon. Sakura Kakumei's probably where a good chunk of that's been funneled into and I wouldn't be surprised if there was another unannounced project in the works too.

So, what caused such a decline? I don't even play this game but I'm genuine curious. Any theories?

GI has been taking a dive for the past month. Interest is waning and they need far more time to develop actually content. You can take if it hit's FGO's profit numbers. We all know it never will even make a faction of it.

The writers have writers block or something and haven't released meaningful story content in a very long time, compared to back when the game first released when you would get a new story chapter every other month

Profit =/= revenue. Revenue is how much money you're making, profit is how much money you have left after all costs are taken out. As posted here revenue is still about the same, it's just that something's taking about $50 million out of that.

It's probably not a decline so much as an early sign that something's happening behind the scenes. We know that they've been developing a new Sakura Taisen mobage so that's several million dollars accounted for, but I'd be surprised if that cost $50 million so there's likely something else in the works as well.

>GI has been taking a dive for the past month
holy cope

Genshin impact has some of the worst character design from a popular game, it's not built to last. Once the herd thins out, the game will lose it's luster.

Nah, it's probably true. The game just stops being fun really fucking fast about a few weeks in. Mihoyo is incredibly jewish with any sort of reward for playing the game.

Apparently its from between July 2019-2020, so Genshin hadn't even started up yet. Serves them right honestly, I barely even play anymore since their release schedule for events turned into a fucking crawl.

Saber wouldn't even have to use her sword to BTFO Jason

Yeah, she'd just need her sword.
