So which one was your parents, newfags? My dad went from 2A to 2B within the last few years, pretty cool stuff.

>1C
Based mom
when I was a kid it was 3B
then I hit puberty and it was 2A
now it's 1A
My favorite is when my usually reserved mum pulls a 2B and is like "wow, that's really violent..." and then just keeps watching me play DOOM Eternal or something similar, clearly enjoying the spectacle
It's not too surprise I think because middle aged women eat shit like John Wick up
1A
CB, my dad and I played nearly every co-op game together. Borderlands 1+2+3, Diablo III, Army of Two, Champions of Norrath, LOTR War in the North, Portal, and even backseated me all the way through Dark Souls 2+3 and bloodborne (he'd call out when my healths bar low so I knew when to heal) thinking about it i had a pretty cool dad who loved playing games with me, despite being old
games where 3C dad would be right?
floating around 2C and 2B
I remember my dad asking me to help him play Beyond Two Souls since that had an optional mode where one person played the girl and the other one played the ghost.
3B, 2B
dad went from 2C to 1C
mom went from 1A to 1B
For me, it's A1 mixed with A3

Dad is 2C as fuck, mom bounces between 1B & 1C. I think what started my love of fighting games was playing Tekken Tag with the both of them as a kid.
My dad would be 2b when I played stuff like c&c, but 1b otherwise. He really liked the campy Westwood style cutscenes.
3A always and now a mix of tat an 1A
i'm jelly of your parents
KIDS OUGHTTA BE LEARNING REAL SKILLS, LIKE WORKIN' ON CARS AND CASHIERIN'
I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOU BITCHING ABOUT CUTS OR BROKEN BONES, NEITHER
Dad's always been 3C, while I heard before I was born that my mom was also 3C, she turned up becoming more of a 2B.
I think I got some pretty rad parents.
DESPITE ALL MY RAGE
2A. He has never been against vidya per say, but he has always found it to be childish.
3B as a kid.
2B as a teenager.
1A for some time after the divorce, but he cooled down soon.
Since this'll turn into a parenting thread as always I got a question. Is it wrong to want your child to be like you?
>Is it wrong to want your child to be like you?
Eh, they'll end up like you, intentionally or not. The worst part of growing up is realizing that you're really just a little clone of your father.
>past tense
im sorry user
I don't have kids but i'd say yes it's bad.
If i had kids i'd only want them to be happy and healthy.
But i'll probably die before having kids
1A is right thougt.
Titanfall 2, unless you are a h*tscan shitter
1B
nobody here play vidya except me
I spent most of my life trying not to be my dad, my mom spent most of her life trying not to be her Mom and that's why I love her.
It's not a bad thing to want it, but it's a bad thing to act on that desire as to not let your kids decide their own shit.
samp
>Is it wrong to want your child to be like you?
It's the natural instinct for literally every parent. It doesn't matter if you like computer games, drawing, nascar or just sitting on a porch drinking-- part of you is going to wish your kid shared the same interests as you instead of becoming their own person.
Neither.
My mother played them herself and was incredibly good at the shit she liked but she wasn't even the slightest bit competitive in terms of head to head action.
Nor am I really, ironically, since I am one of the best in the world at the handful of games I love.
Your dad is 2B?
3A and 3B but instead of "for us to try out!" its "here's a game I found/bought that I thought you might like!"
I only ever played board games with my parents.
Both are A2. Occasionally dipping into A1 when mad.
same but once I got a job it jumped back to 1b
depends on the game. both my parents sucked at shooters, but my dad was pretty good at strategy games. and when i was a kid they were both better than me in roller coaster tycoon. 2B i'd say.
