Not that she was xenophobic anyway. She's an Alliance soldier with a military family tree. She's just about as cautious around aliens as everyone else is. Only reason Paragon Shep and Kaidan are so accepting is because they're literally goody-two-shoes prudes. Every other human is cautious of aliens because they were literally just in a war with them and they've only been in contact with them for a matter of years.

Have you played 2 and 3, user? Even wingebag Kaidan is more annoying than Ashley. Jacob is literally designed for putting him in the vent so he kills himself and James Vega makes ME3 feel like a budget Michael Bay flick with B-list actors. Ashley is FAR from being the most annoying in the series.

I like pretending Ash is a dyke by using the mod that lets you romance her as a chick. I just wish there was one for Jack, but Ash is a fine second choice.

Humanity fought a war with Turians a decade or so before the first game which was their first encounter with aliens. It's perfectly reasonable to have a few hangups with establishing an alliance with a bunch of them. Think of just how many decades did it take for English war vets to consider Germans to be even human. Hell this is one of a few instances of really reasoned and balanced writing but nah, good guys shud b good because I guess the fandom changed.

Mass Effect would've been more of a slog if they made the gameplay match that. But then biotics like Kaidan would've been more invaluable since the moment his Shields would be stripped he could just erect a Barrier.

What? People overwhelming saved Ashley, not sacrificed her, probably because she's a girl. Bioware released stats showing that Kaidan had the lowest survivability rate of all companions in the ME3 throughout peoples' playthroughs at just 17%, while Ashley had 53%.

It's just weird that they keep teasing that he's going all AssCreed on the Crows but it's either just a cameo in 2 or just a bunch of notes and mentions. A Zevran side-game would be perfect for Bioware to start experimenting with gameplay shit.

The big mistake was locking up all of the blue magic as overdrives. Kinda kills the whole point of blue magic. Giving him jump to kinda have a dragoon in the game was also a big copout.

I loved using ken, his spears and persona were really cool
