>you make a successful game
>journalist from a big company makes an interview with you
>so user, your game is great and all, but I noticed your games has only white characters, why does your game lack diversity?
How do you answer?
You make a successful game

I punch them in the face and walk away
Nice, now you lose all your money and go to jail, good job user.
I take a big greasy shit on the floor, and as they recoil in disgust at the sight of my waste, I tell them just like them, because nobody wants to look at something smelly and brown.
i vaguely remember some kotaku reviewer trying to interview a blizzard guy with some super loaded questions like this and he just got up and fucked off mid interview
Ignore the "because" in there, im about ready to pass out
why would i do interviews with a scumbag jounalist if Im already sucessful?
id onyl do it before fame to gain a larger market
average IQ of a Zig Forums poster
"I'm just representing my lived experience."
"I'm not American so i don't know anything about your diversity stuff nor do i care."
>My game world is an utopia where all niggers, transsexuals and homosexuals have been executed in a great purge. It has no impact on gameplay, just like diversity.
The media can destroy your name and your company's name if they want to.
>"White people, by nature, have more variety of hair colors, ranging from black to blonde, with brown and red in between."
>"Same goes for eye color, there's, brown, blue, grey, green, and several mixed tones."
>"White people also have the ability to get a darker skin color by absorbing sunlight, leading to a vast array of different skin hues."
>"So when it comes down to the objective diversity of character looks, employing only white people will grant you, oh, about 80% of the available diversity."
>"Also, fuck niggers, and fuck jannies, stick your woke shit where the sun doesn't shine."
I tell them I don't care about diversity because I just make video games
and when they try to push it more, I reaffirm my stance by saying that I don't care about their agenda, and once they act offended by me accusing them of such, I simply tell them good bye, get up and get out
and just from that, I'd get all the advertising anyone could ever want and I'll be first page of reddit and everyone on Zig Forums will call me based for years to come, it's really not that hard
i wouldn't make such a game
my game would only have Asian characters like my fellow Japanese, Korean and Chinese developer's work
destory my name for what?
and even if they try, the game is already sucessdul, that means i already have money and theres tons of people who bought the game, and theres tons who will by my next game
no, they can't, they really can't
people that care about journalism do not play video games, do you think your average CNN audience play the same games you do?
they'll make drama for a couple weeks, and that'll just be free advertising for you, it's really that easy
why do big companies care about it then?
"No one on the dev team was not from a white background, and we didn't have enough money to hire anyone else for the team. We didn't want to misrepresent anyone nor underpay anyone for their assistance, so we just stayed in our own lane this time as not to upset anyone."
because shareholders own big companies, and shareholders care about the public's opinion of them
I'm not a shareholder, and if I was making games, you can be sure I'd say as far away from them as I can
First truly good post ITT. Not being American allows one to view SJW and prevalent Internet politics from the outside. Same reason why Kingdom Come's devs didn't give a damn.
Good one, pretty kosher I think, you wouldn't be cancelled.
>I'm not obsessed with black people because I'm not american
my main focus was making a good game, diversity and politics may be the center of modern games but when you want to make a genuinely fun game, the fun is the first and foremost thing to consider, everything else is second thought and therefore irrelevant
Because I hate niggers.
>"I didn't notice that, but it's an interesting observation! We're always interested in making our games as diverse as possible, so we'll look into that for the future!"
Never talk to journalists
>"I had a feeling people would notice that, but in all truth, my concern is trying to tell the story, while at the same time trying to create a sense of diversity for the sake of pandering and resulting in token characters. But it's a definite that we want to respect that as well because it is important to people."
>but they aren't white, they're a golden skin race called the Gilbin.
>There are no humans in my video game.
There, that's how you avoid all this bullshit. Just never have games about humans and use "not" humans instead.
"Why, that's simply because the white race is the only one that matters."
And when they call it a racist thing to say, I tell them that yes, it is.
They would instead be asking me
>"user, why does your game have so many brown-skinned femboys?"
I would tell them that the main character is Mexican.
Based
>white people
>play as a hedgehog, bandicoot, bear, monkey, lizard, dragon, etc etc
>brown people
>NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I NEED A SELF INSERT!!!
I think it has something to do with the fact that they have "how to recognize yourself in the mirror" classes on up to the 4th grade for blacks
