Just gonna tell you you're right before all the shit-eaters and low-iq retards try to argue otherwise op
it truly is a magnificent, modern masterpiece.
bump.
But you haven't really finished it until you've played through the game at least 5 times to get all the slightly different endings!!!
its a good game but people saying this shit is a fucking meme.
Haven't seen a good discussion thread on Nier Automata in over a year now.
>But you haven't really finished it until you've played through the game at least 5 times to get all the slightly different endings!!!

Done and done. Only thing I didn't bother with was the Emil side boss.
Only real complaint was the leveling system, I was severely overleveled at times, but I blame that on me grinding for the dlc content (not realizing it was just dlc content since I bought the collectors edition on steam sale without even reading what it included). Otherwise, prue kino.
Combat is pretty bad but it's platinum so people like to pretend it's good
why is the pc version so bad bros?
>Combat is pretty bad but it's platinum so people like to pretend it's good
Platinum has literally never made a bad game.
>But you haven't really finished it until you've played through the game at least 5 times to get all the slightly different endings!!!
how2tell user hasn't played the game
You wouldn't be saying this if you'd played the other DrakeNier games first.
High IQ players realise the story isn’t what makes the game good, that’s it’s just average, with underdeveloped characters and not really as clever as people make it out to be.

Don't you have some discord to moderate?
Switch to higher difficulty when you are overlevelled
>played through the game at least 5 times
You only play through the game once (1x).
You do not replay the game.
The combat is fun, flashy, and varied.
I don't give rat's ass about Platinum either.
it's not.
Just to be sure if you restart a game after ending C/D you can redo the whole A->B->C sequence without going into the chapter select right?
>Don't you have some discord to moderate?
>NIntenkiddie mad Platinum Chads don't want to put any of their masterpieces on their systems anymore.
Anybody tried to make a world map of Nier? There's not much (merely some stuff about the kingdom of day/night, some locations in hawaii/france/guadalcanal/japan, the fact earth is tidaly locked, some vague information like Androids control >20% of earth's surface) but trying to make sense of what little information get me reading on tidally locked planet simulations and it's pretty fun, also thinking about how machines would recreate and adapt every ideologies and system of government ever is pretty fun to think about.
>There were posadist machines
I'd love to see the contrast with the dark side of the planet to the side facing the sun. Would the machines adapt by foregoing visual sensors? Would they have extremely sensitive photosensors? Would they be consuming a huge amount of electricity to power light sources?
That dark world nonsense is just yoko taro's excuse for not having a day night cycle. We all know that even a ps2 game can have day night cycles.
It's boring
Wasn't there some Information about the Kingdom of Night being Accords origin?
Don't know about anyone who has problems. Even the pirate version has a fix patch. And mods... Yeah.
Did you find 2b's secret?
Getting all 5 "Endings" is considered a single playthrough.
>Did you find 2b's secret?
Her funeral? Yee.
Who's idea was it to have Emil's bossfight be locked behind grinding every single weapon in the game to 100% upgrade?
Sensors doesn't seem like a huge issue, the constant subzero temperature would make cooling less of an issue, not that it looks like an issue in the game, maybe they need less radiative surface? It could prevent machines and androids from shutting down from extended period of time unless their hydraulic system freeze.
As for power generation idk, the only two source we see in game is nuclear fusion and Photoelectric solar panels, first would work anywhere, second wouldn't work on the other side, but that can be compensated by putting huge solar farms on the day side.
That's what everybody thought at first and probably the original reason, but he doubled down on it a few months ago in an interview and teased we may see more of the night side in the future.
Yes it's where she(?) was made firesanctuary.com
I doubt Yoko Taro cares much about the overall cross-game setting/timelines (I mean if he did he wouldn't retcon every game at each release) but It can still be fun to try to stitch it together.
Series tradition. You had to collect every weapon in Drakengard, Drakengard 3 and Nier to unlock the true ending of each game.
I'm waiting for the statue they announced to go live with a price. it is beautiful
You didn't. Keep looking for it, user. You'll find out
