>Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi has heaped praise on Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima, labelling the game “amazing” and expressing some regret it wasn’t made in Japan.
Oof.
‘Japan should have made Ghost of Tsushima’, says Yakuza creator

And what changes now?
ah so it really was made by weeabos
They make a game similar to it but with kunoichis.
The headline is paraphrased. What he actually said was that the care shown to japanese history was admirable and he wished that japanese studios could approach in the same way. Next
GOTY 2020
Your title and greentext say different things
Never gonna happen, pretty boy protagonists are the only things that make it out alive of jap focus testing.
Westaboo rennaissance game incoming
It's more authentic and not just some pretentious hipster's take on Kurosawa films and Japanese history.
Why get so bitter about a good American game about Japanese history? Turn the tables, develop a game about American history in Japan. Make a fun western-themed game, we haven't had one of those since Gun.
>July 30th
you're really late dude
>Japan should have made Ghost of Tsushima
then do it faggot
actually didn’t there was already a yakuza samurai game?
thanks, the headline and first line posted looked misleading, i figured it was something like this.
i can’t believe japan already invented time machines. truly japan is numbah wan
>Why get so bitter
Read past the bait headline.
>Metal Wolf Chaos but it's a western
would be kino
People have been posting this thread for months. Fuck off we know.
He wasn't bitter. He wishes that Japanese developers gave as much of a shit about Japanese history as these western devs did. It's a misleading headline.
He's not bitter though, he's saying the game is really well made and saying that it should have been made in Japan in the sense of it being a bit embarrassing that a non-Japanese studio was the one that made such a good samurai game.
Sort of like how the english should be embarrassed at the fact that we invented nearly every popular world sport but have been BTFO'd at it by other countries at all of them for decades.
Modern Japan has almost completely forgotten its own history and culture. Now its just a bunch of pedophiles and deviants regurgitating the same shit that sells well overseas and to their current repressed society. They couldn't even make a game like ghosts of tsushima without adding in out of place humor and minigames.
good, it's a statement that should resonate through the japanese community and make them focus towards the right things, not gacha shit.
The thing that struck me the most in the article was when he said the characters in Ghost looked like real people and if it was made in Japan they would all be anime characters or super models. that is so true
Yet another v thread based on disinformation
Yakuza Ishin
Like most Yakuza spinoffs it's okay but only really enjoyable for fans of the series.
I really like this song though

Once again, the West wins. Even the Japanese acknowledge it.
Very true. It's a bit jarring when initially I thought Yuna was ugly, when in reality she was just plain looking and without makeup.
Biggest sins of the Western games: create the ugliest, sometimes minority quotas, characters, just fo fill an agenda (ex: that bitch from TLOU2 and the black Jedi Knight from Fallen Order, they could've been much more good looking)
Biggest sin of the Japanese games: absolutely anime looking irrealist characters to the point of disregarding any asiatic features, even when the game was supposed to feel more realistic
what's the game like? like what's the gameplay loop?
>Sort of like how the english should be embarrassed at the fact that we invented nearly every popular world sport but have been BTFO'd at it by other countries at all of them for decades
but britbongs are brittle and unathletic. it's not your fault.
But then it would be shitty like the Yakuza games
