Oh I gave this a try because the art style looks like an Etrian Odyssey rip-off but there was way too much text about nonsense I didn't care about and not nearly enough sex. I also couldn't be bothered trying to decode the obnoxious Japanese colloquialisms.

It's also an Alicesoft game so I dunno how you weren't expecting lore and plot.

Even ignoring the whole Rance series, the Toushin games apart from the first one, the Dai trilogy, two of the PastelChime games (never managed to get my hands on the first one), the two Evenicle, and the Beat Angel games (even tho they're not particularly gameplay-heavy, I give you that) are all pretty good at their respective genre, altho in some cases the VN aspect is the main draw of the game.
So, again, what are you on about ?

It's literally not though. Himukai doesn't draw facial expressions like that and twitter points to some guy named gyokai. Unless I'm being bamboozled it's definitely not the same Etrian guy.
