>Says the people who changed Christmas to "Toy Day"
how can nintendo enforce a policy like this
A little bit late ain’t it Nintendo? Doing it after the guy won the election.
I mean. They ain't wrong. Everyone expect gifts and toys on Christmas. Ita the only real meaning behind it. Nobody gives a shit about anything else
Quillson sounds like he is more dedicated to it then any casual would be.
Why is giving festive, original names to holidays in a fictional world wrong, again?
Christmas is an explicitly religious holiday, of course they're going to rename it for Animal Crossing. Unless you're just complaining that "Toy Day" is a lame name, in which case I completely agree.
BASED
It’s been Toy Day since the first game like 20 years ago stfu nigger
It's pretty cringe, but it worked. Oh well, at least the racist, dementia ridden old coot in office plays animal crossing
christfags will throw tantrums over literally anything
>I want to point out about Jesus
>Remember Hallmark runs Christmas media...
H..HoHoHo right lads?
Because they didn't do that in the Japanese script they're supposed to be translating, you faggot.
This move is political in itself
Back to Plebian Land.
They can revoke the license from the developer
>you're not allowed to criticize anything related to something you like whatsoever
retarded
>muh war on christmas
Shut up faggot
Unironically this. Christianity has been losing ground and relevancy so the more people try to make things unreligious, the more they stand to lose.
mad
go kill someone then you worthless tranny
>its a 'retard gets noa mixed up with noj' post
The game is Japanese, would you prefer it to be KFC and gift giving day? Nobody gives a SHIT about J-man in Japan. Even though of course he went there after he pretended to die, which we weirdly keep forgetting.
>NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, THIS GAME THAT CAME FROM A COUNTRY WHERE CHRISTIANS ARE LESS THAN 2% OF THE POPULATION ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT CHRISTMAS AND IT ISN'T TOTALLY JUST A TIME WHERE EVERYONE EXCHANGES PRESENTS WITH ONE ANOTHER
What next, you're going to get butthurt over st Valentine's day being changed to chocolate day?
>Zig Forums cheers on censorship in games
neo-Zig Forums needs its little safespace?
Yes - choosing not to endorse any political side is political.
Idiot.
Also - Nintendo is smart enough to realize that 'choosing a side' almost always leads to controversy that it doesn't need or want, and certainly has never helped maximize potential sales of anything, ever. Brands that try to pump politics are in it for the 'quick buck,' not the 'long buck'.
big of them to do this AFTER the election, now that it doesn't matter. soitendo is as woke as the rest of the industry.
You can't censor companies because companies are not people
Except it's called Christmas in Japanese and has nothing to do with KFC in the game.
>implying it isn't basically 'toy day' in Japan.
Japan doesn't give a fuck about Western Holiday's roots or most of their traditions - they just pick and choose what they like based on convenience and 'fun'.
In Japan, 'birth of Christ' has nothing to do with most Christmas celebrations. It's an excuse to eat fatty foods like KFC, and exchange gifts - something that Japanese love doing.
Same with Halloween. For them it's an excuse to eat candy and dress up in costumes, which most of those anime-loving faggots were going to do anyway.
Cool
If they went anti nazi you'd be all for it and not call it censorship because its nazi. At least its a Neutral stance which is a lot more then you or I could say Fedora-san.
Only an amerilard would consider the name of the Christ to be political
society isn't actually becoming unreligious, though. it's just that christianity has been replaced by wokeness as the majority religion. and instead of worshipping a god, its followers worship black people, trannies, scientists, and leftist politicians.
i think it's absolutely based whenever japan completely dismisses western ideals and theisms as utter nonsense. whites have no influential power over there.
It's called Christmas in Japanese
KFC & Gift-Giving Day sounds like a pretty rad holiday. Japan just might be onto something.
There is nothing wrong with censoring political propaganda in videogames. Especially if it's american.
