this. I've played every From game except for Demon Souls and I literally prefer DS2 to BB.
aesthetics wise sure, it's great, but the combat tried to feel like Devil May Cry in the middle of a watered down From-RPG system and it really didn't click with me.
I can see why it's so beloved but honestly if it wasn't PS4 exclusive it would get absolutely clowned by DS3 and now Sekiro.

Everybody loves the gameplay but I find it very messy. I like the gameplays of Dark Souls 1 and Sekiro better, both of them are much tighter. Dark Souls 3 is tight too, just boring.

I dropped it after getting killed by this werewolf thing pretty early on. Haven't enjoyed a Souls game since Demon's Souls.

BB has by far the coolest optional shit in the whole franchise though.

I was pretty dissapointed in this, it may Lovecraft inspired but the design in Dark Souls is more weird than in this one.

He used the save upload exploit to get his three endings. Now the Chalice Dungeons, I would have loved to had been there when he had to go through those Defiled dungeons to get the final one for the bitch.

Didn’t struggle with the chalice dungeons, I actually defeated the rom chalice version before the main storyline Rom boss.

I didn’t exploit for 3 endings, I only did for 2 - I’d already eaten the cords by then so was unable to do so. I did NG+ in a few hours on the same day to get the final ending.
