I'm a canuck and I mostly play JRPGs and collect-a-thons while stoned. Stuff I can play at my own pace with semi-active sections and a good balance of story/action sequence/navigation sequence/ticking boxes off lists is just really fun and satisfying while high. I find Pokemon and the Tales series really fun stoned, and also arcade games to chase high scores (My personal faves are Tetris and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2).

Have you smoked before? If not you should just focus on that, you might get too high to play vidya anyway
It won't really change your taste as far as genres, although generally speaking body-high strains are best paired with more relaxing games and head-high games are better for action-oriented stuff.

I have played NV high but my recommendation is to get to Novac or get to the North Vegas Medical Clinic if you go that route, do that before you get high, save, and then dig into the meat after you hit the bong.
