It's an add-on for Dolphin that gives rollback netcode. the problem is that neither Dolphin or Slippi is illegal, and Smash can be played from legally ripped ISOs or straight from a disc drive with a legit copy of the game. Nintendo doesn't have a leg to stand on.

The closest game to Melee is Slap City, which is a great game that I play and support, but its still distinctly slower than Melee and the movement does not carry the same weight and momentum, which is what makes Melee uniquely satisfying to play. If there was a game that was just mechanically identical to Melee with a different skin I would move to it, but so far all of the Melee clones have their own systems which make it feel way different, particularly no game has nailed the movement.
