Been trying to enjoy it but it keeps crashing at certain locations.

I still spent 100 hours building a settlement.

I’ve been playing it again for the first time since it came out. I can’t believe how buggy it still is. It’s also just painfully dumb compared to 3 and NV. It can be fun if I just run around shooting, but it does not scratch my fallout itch.

I keep thinking about getting it for either FROST or lewd mods.
I pirated it right when it first came out and kept it all the way up till nuka world but I got fed up of all the hoops I had to jump through to keep it playing nice with mods.

Exactly how would you say that Fallout 4 is a good game, user?
Because after 900 hours, I'm struggling to find anything about I can definitively call 'good' without a 'but' or 'if not for' following after the claim.
If you ever say anything about mods or how good they will be, bear in mind that this game has been out for 5 entire years now.

Unlike Skyrim I never bothered to finish the main quest. That settlement garbage still pisses me off when all I wanted to do was wander around killing shit and selling the loot back in town for fat stacks. Tying up the best vendors in your game to the settlementshit is a fucking crime.

It’s an ok looter/shooter, it’s a bad fallout game.
It might be a good game if you didn’t need to download mods to make it stable. Whether people put a lot of time into it doesn’t change the fact that the game itself is poorly made.

100% this. The only thing that sucked me in was exploring. Every NPC and the Story is just bland and taced on as fuck.

Incredibly disappointing. Started out cool but quickly got stale. Same shit over and over. Insanely easy or stupid bullet sponge gameplay. Survival mode with only bed saves sucks cock and you still end up retardedly OP after the first like three hours. The writing is horrible and the voice actors for the protagonists are dogshit. Every dialogue is Yes, Yes, Yes, No. Exploring becomes dull because the game seriously lacks unique loot, instead using some randomized trait nonsense. Gun designs are fucking dogshit and the settlement system is half-assed beyond belief. If you play survival mode and one of your settlements gets attacked you're just fucked. I wanted to like it but everything about it is so underwhelming.

I want to play with mods but I also want the achievements unlocked.

it was fun to stomp around in the power armor mech suit for awhile but it got old quick
its a shit rpg with shit characters and shit gameplay, so shallow it makes Skyrim look complex in comparison

Fallout 76 has better atmosphere than 4. let that sink in.
No F76 isnt a better game but the fact that it can claim any victory is shameful as fuck. F4 is trash.
