I can maybe see condensing some of the Hosidan names like Suzukaze to Kaze or Shinonome to Shiro, but why the fuck would they make Belka's localized name the Japanese pronunciation of her original name? And why change the names at all? Why make Aqua "Azura"? Why make Marks "Xander"? Do they really think they're making the characters more appealing by giving them a completely unrelated, less fitting name?

What the fuck? Where did "Belka" come from? The Japanese don't even have an L sound, and if you're about to point to some artbook that has some shitty romanization of her name, let me refer you to Siglud. Also Belka isn't a name, Beruka is.
