Enjoy your fucking ancient failing hardware that's a pain in the ass to maintain running on eyecancer CRTs and paying ultra-premium prices because of false scarcity for it all. I grew up with gaming -- my first console was the Atari VCS and I think I remember having one of those multi-Pong clone consoles before that as a kid. And I'm not going to fucking bother fucking around with real hardware like a chump when perfectly good emulation exists. It's more than good enough and anyone who says differently is lying.

Actually 5th is the only real gen you really want to go og hardware for, and xbox/ps2
Everything else either is REALLY good like Dolphin or has FPGA or cycle accurate emu's on PC

If it was made for CRT technology, you need to play it on one, regardless of your method. Otherwise you simply are not getting the intended experience, full stop. PS3 emulation on a modern screen sure. But Super Nintendo? No.

FPGA can do perfect CRT input and its the superior way of playing old consoles thanks to the flexibility and all in one nature of it
