fact: non-dragon pseudo-legendaries are superior to dragon pseudo-legendaries

Try iron fist + life orb

it really does
throw in a sand rush excadrill in your team as well and you can run over any game

never played pokemon competitively but did people really hate Weather Wars that badly? At least compared to what the meta is now?

Weather was permanent in Gen 5. I can only imagine the suffering

idk man is it really that different from shit like Terrain Wars from Gen 7? I don't even know what's going down in Gen 8 but it looks like a mess with Dynamaxing being banned on Smogon and power creep being fucking insane now.

let it be known that sandstorm is the superior weather. fuck rainfags and fuck sunfags too while at that.

Everything at the bottom looks like a child's DeviantART submissions.

Breh...

But what about snowfriends?

For me, it's Gliscor
Not even competitively, I just love the design. It's near perfect for me and the best possible evolution Gligar could've gotten.

i forgot that they existed.
i just love his typing and that he can levitate, it's quite unique. flying scorpion bat thing.

It was annoying in the sense that rain, sand, and to a lesser degree sun team were everywhere. That said, in a sense of was less over centralized than the following metas because it was more about certain team templates than single ubiquitous pokemons, plus the powercreep was still ok. And I also managed to pull off some non-weather teams, cloud nine lickilicki was a bro.

Wow, I'm a lot more intimidated of Celesteela now that I know it's fucking 50 feet tall.

>4x weakness to fighting
>slower than everything that is a threat to it
No.

What you're describing is why I play UU and below. OU always becomes racing to setup an acemon before the opponent, always has.

Actual best Pokemon coming through

my mom's tyranitar

RUN IT'S GOJIRAAAA

>he thinks being 4x weak makes pokemon bad

it has good defense and HP to back it up, it can live and then hit you back

Unless you're playing against stall where it becomes "how long can I keep this match going until my opponent gets frustrated and leaves"

wait, we can't actually call it that since it's copyrighted

Even still, the Acemon is just Toxapex with all entry hazards on the field. It's the same principle, just takes longer to get there.

>kartana next to celesteela
cute

WE GO TOO COCKY TYRANITAR BROS...

All metas are ultimately about archtypes like that, they're just not so obvious to distinguish unless you really know your shit and they're much less "rock paper scissors-like" as Rain > Weatherless > Sand.
Gen 7 had balance, bulky offense, like three distinct types of hyper offense, rain, sand, and the very rare trickroom and stall.
