It wasn't, it probably had the most fun move sets out of the whole series and the best pvp. Just faggot influencers were butthurt it was different therefore it was bad in their opinion. fuck'em

If you liked fair and interesting PvP it was the best game in the series after they introduced the agape ring. Game itself outside of the DLC was fairly mediocre though compared to what it could have been.

It's a pleb filter and the best dark souls game. Ds1 fans are pseuds and ds3 fans haven't even played the others.

I don't think it was shit I just think it was an average and unremarkable game with some heavy flaws that was a sequel to a landmark game that changed that gaming landscape so it was a let down to anyone who played DS1 first.
PvP was fun and it had a good selection of armor, weapons, and viable builds. DLC was trash though and I don't think I'll ever play any of it again.

Dark souls 3 is the most fun

dark souls 2 still has the best gestures and I am forever salted that ds3 doesn't have the nice gestures from both ds1 and ds2, how could you mess up like that

That was my first Souls game. Never played any other souls games. I assumed they were all like that. To be fair I was playing the Xbox 360 version.

Who cares about how the dark souls games rank amongst each other when all 3 are worse than Demon Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro.

It had okay ideas but DS1 movesets are much worse than movesets in many cases compared to DS2. Bosses were much better in DS1 and DS3 tho, DS2 were shit tier.
Each to their own brother, best one for me was DS2 mostly due to fun pvp.

That's a great point, you can enjoy these games for many different reasons. For me it's 100% PvE and Ds3 wins in terms of the enjoyment I get from bossfights/atmosphere. Still, DS2 has a lot going for it with the sheer variety of environments and combat options.
