Would you buy a PS5™ for this?
Would you buy a PS5™ for this?
Already did.
I already bought one.
Yeah
No. I'll be getting one maybe at end of next year of the start of '22. I'm getting a Switch as my next machine.
Don't get a switch until the new revision.
>square
>2020
Lol no
Not at launch.
After how messy FFXV was at launch, I am not getting XVI at launch
Why is the Ifrit vs Phoenix clash so prominent? It's in the trailer, the logo, and the promo art. What's the significance?
No, I will wait for PC or a complete version. Bit I expect the game to be very good, once again Yoship and Soken must save Final Fantasy
>Would you buy a PS5™ for this?
I'm actually waiting to buy a PS5 just for this game so yes
What the supposed 4k Switch? I don't believe it's actually coming.
Nope. Will play it on my PC.
One that can actually play at 1080p60fps
4K Switch is plausable since Nvidia has DLSS.
Uh....its part of the plot. Imbecil
I'm probably going to end up buying a PS5 to play with my friend, but this is one of the titles I'm interested in playing, yes.
I want to see more of the game though and see what the combat is like: I like the idea of a change to ARPG combat but I'd like to know how exactly it works, whether you get party members, how much gear influences stats/if gear is visually reflected, can I specialise into jobs and so forth.
But it looks like it'll be fun and I've enjoyed the story and overall production of FFXIV so yes I guess I would.
No. I will upgrade my PC for it, though
How would you know? The whole plot revolves around this one conflict? In the trailer, the whole clash was just a single scene.
Yeah, I don't even believe these are coming.
How did this rumor blow up anyway? Is it just wishful Nintendo fans running around with it?
It looks like XV style combat, maybe a little more deliberate.
When has Nintendo NEVER made a revision?
It'll be better and it already looks better. There are actually people involved that know how to make an action combat system.
After FF15 and FF7 Remake - Christmas Carol edition I'm not sure what sort of beaten wife syndrome you would need to suffer from to buy a next-gen console before it's even out
I've not played XV, the style of it didn't really appeal, but I like the fantasy look of this one. Was the combat decent? I've heard mixed things. I don't expect ARPGs to play like DMC, but if it's anything like Dragon's Dogma then I'd be happy like a pig in muck.
N64
Gamecube
No. I wouldn't buy one for any reason. Happy with the older consoles and can't see that changing.
I think it's better than given credit for, but a lot of the combat revolves around weapon swapping and hitting with the right magic. There aren't a ton of "moves" so to speak.
Yeah, any day now for the last three years. It's coming bros.
I'm not really sure what you mean.
Define revision. If you mean just any old revision like the DS Lite or Gameboy SP, then Switch Lite is your revision. If you mean upgraded revisions like New 3DS, then Wii U, GameCube, Wii etc. never got any such revisionz.
You can dodge every attack by holding a single button.
Depends.
Does it have towns?
Does it have party members?
Does it have a good story other than you typical revenge plot?
Does it have Summons?
Does it have the love and care put into this game like tabata did for XV?
No, didnt think so.
Considering how XV felt really incomplete on release and needed a lot of DLC to fix its story and gameplay to be passable, I'm just gonna wait until all the DLC for this are out, and the PC version will probably be out by then.
Clive is Ifrit and he inherits the Phoenix powers from Joshua, so he has an internal conflict going on.
Damn Noctis' outfit is so bad, pic related was so much better
>Does it have the love and care put into this game like tabata did for XV?
Kek almighty. Tabata was just a corporate tool who pumped out the base game and then bailed.
FF7R game me newfound hope for Square so yeah probably
How does that work exactly? Can you attack during that time?
He got it back finally in Dissida, somehow.
