Only thing that really matter is the consumer USA because of the sheer bulk of direct buyers, at their worse making up 50% of all sales. JP used to be big on sales, but the last 10 years it's been heavily dwarfed as more and more people in the USA start buying shit for the sake of buying crap. You can't beat people just buying stuff because you did a few ads for it.

Sources as so far from what I've seen everyone's treating the damn things as just "PS4/XB1 2.0" and not real upgrades. The press is talking shit up as if it is, like they always do, but I don't see any company's that wasn't already in bed with the previous systems suddenly jumping into the pool. If anything it's more a case of devs already fulfilling their contracts with Nintendo, and them not really offering new ones in turn being the problem here. Nintendo's not writing checks to get people onto it's hardware, and they kinda are just sitting on their hands expecting company's to make stuff for it because they've got the largest install base. Yet that's also because ATM Nintendo rather be doing DMCA's then worried about their systems profits.

It's just going to be Vita 2.0 where it ends up being the indie port machine and not much else that isn't permanently-delayed Nintendo IPs.
