You can fly ships around a single system and do basic repeatable missions for money to buy armor/ship parts/actual ships.
Currently its just like "go here and fight X enemies" or "delivery this box here" or "go find this ship and click the bodies" as far as missions, really simple repeatable stuff. You can also haul for money which is what most hardcore grinders do.
Its very buggy and you need to grind a ton to get a ship in game but there is more there than this board seems to think.
