He's not wrong. Everything people wish modern fighting games had in 2020, KI already had or was implementing back in 2014-2015.

Hence why I said launch period. It came out a little later. Hell even just counting the first year of being on the market the PS4 had jack shit in comparison. I can't even remember anything from the first year of the PS4 outside of Resogun. Xbone had Sunset Overdrive, KI, and D4. Granted it still turned out to be a shit system but it had better games during the launch period.

It does, and its very good. For 1 though the campaign is just edited multiplayer matches with bots and cutscenes/radio chatter during them to convey the plot.

I like 2 more than 1 in nearly every aspect. The only thing 1 has over 2 is better movement. Slidehopping is vastly inferior to bunnyhopping

They changed a bunch of mechanics for 2 and 1 legitimately has better maps. Whether you prefer the titan gameplay (the biggest change) more in 1 or 2 is subjective though.

Time to kill isn't insanely low, rodeoing titans has a purpose, titans don't feel like sheets of paper, stim doesn't make you so fast a you can melee kill someone before they even see the punch animation on their death screen, actual bunnyhopping instead of slidehopping, good maps instead of three-lane shit, SMGs can't hipfire you across the map, beacon defense or whatever it's called is better because you don't autowin once once you call in your titan.
