This is similar to how I felt waiting for the PC port to play it for the first time. Honestly, I still couldn't believe I was playing it for real until I had BEEN playing it for a dozen hours.

There is an extensive character creator, the mask is temporary and lore & mechanically relevant. Bella leaker made (seemingly) multiple posts that keyhole together. World is about as open as DD, but not to the level you might expect from something top billed as 'open world' like a Far Cry or somesuch. Co-op is in a procedural dungeon area akin to the old Endless Moon Tower plan. I'll give you one primary pawn, though.

Have a little hope based on this fact; it'd be pretty odd on a board with such low attention span for a fraudulent leaker, let alone one that's actually a series of telephone playing copycats, to be both as consistent as this has been with a few select inconsistencies that are thoroughly rationalizable, like the number of classes and how it works out/is phrased; a fraud would be able to keep that straight, but the real deal might get something lost in translation, or shit could change mid-development easily in the unannounced stage. And why lie to this degree for almost a year, and so far apart? The first post was in November, alleging some Polish concept artist as the initial source, and the story seems to have held together for some months. The latest at the end of September.

I'll note that the writing styles between the November-January leaker and the May-September leaker. One references Project Bella, lots of greentext, the latter paragraph formats. So, might be two leaker men, assuming any of it is real.

the "leaks" say that DD2 is a switch exclusive

'DD2 is Switch exclusive!' is a really recent one-off leak, and then dubious thread of logic piggybacking on the other above leaks that say the game is pushing RE Engines' boundaries to the point of straining PC devkits when sorcerer shit is going on in enemy/foliage-rich environments, which basically disqualifies it from being on switch AT ALL if true.
