Let me give you a hint: Riku cannot replace Sora, since Sora is the one replacing Riku. Riku is literally too plot relevant to replace Sora, Sora’s whole thing is that in a setting where you can’t move 5 feet without tripping over a prophesied hero, ancient evil, or convoluted plot, Sora was just a bumbling idiot who got the keyblade because the original hero couldn’t resist jumping through the stinky portal.

It's DBZ. Sora and Riku will always be way stronger than the rest of the keyblade wielders. The rest of the cast might show back up for another war sequence (so they can job), but I don't expect them to have major roles going forward.
