Anything else worth getting?
Anything else worth getting?
No more Heroes 1 if you have a wiimote, if not RPCS3 is good.
Can you actually get wiimote to work on a PC?
F-Zero
Yeah, get a dolphinbar
skies of arcadia
though I don't know how well it emulates
Yeah I managed it but it's kinda wonky, never got it to work perfectly
Eternal Darkness
Custom Robo is pretty fun
Wario World is nice beat 'em up, if not a bit short.
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door is really enjoyable if you like turn-based RPGs.
you just need a wireless sensor and it will work
Skyward sword if dolphin fixed the motion control stuff. I enjoyed it.
>not using retroarch
cringe and bluepilled
i tried eternal darkness a few years ago but the game would bug out and not work after a few minutes every time
seconded, get Custom Robo
but it requires effort to learn how to use it
I just set up CEMU myself. I'm using an 8bitDo controller. Should I just leave the deadzone settings alone and on default?
Sin and Punishment
Retroarch is good for everything except GCN, Wii, and PS2
ncaa football 2004 and nfl blitz 2003
Give me a minute. I will put a list together
>Retro over dolphin
>Mario Kart Wii
>Okami
>Smackdown Vs RAW 2010
>Warioware Smooth Moves
>Angry Birds Trilogy
>Little King's Story
>Bully
>Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
>Kirby's return to Dreamland
>Rhythm Heaven Fever
>Metroid Prime Trilogy
>Punch-Out
>Super Mario Galaxy 1/2
>Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess
>Super Smash Bros. Brawl
>Tenchu
>Resident Evil 4
>Mini Ninjas
>Cooking Mama - Cook Off
>Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
>Donkey Kong Returns
>Deadly Creatures
>LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga
>Ghostbusters
>The Godfather - Blackhand Edition
>Metal Slug Anthology
>Trauma Center - Second Opinion
>Call of Duty - Modern Warfare Reflex
All of these are good options. I will explain why in the following post (if this thread doesn't die).
for Wii:
Klonoa 1 remake
Mad World
Skyward Sword with the anti-waggle patch
Metroid Prime Trilogy
No More Heroes 2
Rune Factory games if you like Harvest Moon in a fantasy setting
Silent Hill Shattered Memories
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
Super Paper Mario
Wario Land Shake It
Zack and Wiki
For GC:
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Paper Mario TTYD
Eternal Darkness
Pikmin 1 and 2
Luigi's Mansion
PN 03
Viewtiful Joe
Phantasy Star Online 2 (and 3 if you like Card Games)
RE:Make (and Zero if you're a hardcore RE fan)
Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2 (Fromsoft games)
This is just looking at the games I really enjoyed from my own collection.
Beetle PSX is still fucking awful.
Buggy garbage. Yes, ePSXe is a horrible beast that requires per-game setup to work, but at least the candles in SoTN don't wobble, and Shadow Tower is playable.
it's using dolphin core you idiot, it's literally the same emulator, pcsx2 obviously isn't even available yet because it's not ported yet
>Mario Kart Wii
Good racing game. Has options for motion controls (they suck) but you don't need them.
>Okami
Damn good third person platformer with a cool old Japan aesthetic and Folklore
>Smackdown Vs RAW 2010
the only decent wrestling game on the Wii. You are better off just playing a PC version though
>Warioware Smooth Moves
If you haven't played a Warioware game before this is a good start. Tons of microgames and good humor. Relies on motion controls but it's well executed
>Angry Birds Trilogy
This isn't a joke. This game is sold on having a fuckton of levels to play because it's essentially a mega compilation. Good for when you have nothing better to do with your time
>Little King's Story
Basically Pikmin with RPG elements. You command peasants, promote them to different jobs to do different tasks. Build shit. Expand your kingdom and fight monsters with your army in real time
>Bully
GTA in School. This port plays fine but is naturally not the best looking one.
>Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Same as the PS2 version. You can play with Gamecube controls to avoid the (dogshit) motion controls
>Kirby's return to Dreamland
Kirby game. Good game. Not much to say other than it's Kirby.
>Rhythm Heaven Fever
Fun as fuck rhythm game that you play mostly with a single button. Made by the same people who made Warioware and it oozes charisma
>Metroid Prime Trilogy
Three first person shooters in one. They are slow games with meh combat but the attention to lore and atmosphere is top notch. Really captures that feeling of exploring an alien planet
>Punch-Out
A direct upgrade from the NES version. Includes new opponents and it perfectly captures the sense of humor of the original. One of the best games on the system.
>Super Mario Galaxy 1/2
Two good Mario platformers that still look good to this day. They start off super easy but the postgame can get very brutal.
>Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess
A 3D Zelda with a darker atmosphere
>Super Smash Bros. Brawl
This one has a pretty good story mode and the cast was (for its time) pretty ambitious. Also has tons of good options for modding, including custom characters and stages.
>Tenchu
A sneaky game where you play as an assassin ninja and you need to infiltrate places and kill people silently. Pretty serious
>Mini Ninjas
The polar opposite. A cartoonish 3D platformer where you play as a family of ninjas in a journey to save the land from an evil wizard who is turning animals into evil samurei warriors. A total hidden gem with lots of collectibles and atmosphere straight out of an episode of Samurai Jack.
>Resident Evil 4
Good port of the game. The wii pointer makes aiming much less painful.
>Cooking Mama - Cook Off
Fun little game about cooking with your mom.
>Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
2.5D dong where he claps like in GBA
>Donkey Kong Returns
2.5D dong where he rolls like in SNES
>Deadly Creatures
A pretty brutal 3D platformer where you play as different bugs in the night. It's supposed to simulate the real life violence of nature
>LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga
One of the best LEGO games from before they fucked everything up by adding voice acting. Has a fuckton of content to unlock
>Ghostbusters - The Videogame
A game so fucking good that the creators consider it the unofficial third sequel. It even has all the original voice actors and pays a nice homage to the franchise.
>The Godfather - Blackhand Edition
GTA clone where you play as a dude moving his way into the mafia life. Pretty non linear and you get to explore a big chunk of New York in the 50s.
>Metal Slug Anthology
Collection with 8 different arcade classics. Damn good games too
>Trauma Center - Second Opinion
Game about playing as a doctor except it makes everything super anime and you do crazy shit while fighting an evil bioterrorist organization that is infecting people with alien-looking diseases.
>Call of Duty - Modern Warfare Reflex
About what you would expect from a CoD game. Wii pointer, once again, makes aiming not a pain in the ass.
>Beetle PSX is still fucking awful.
the fuck are you talking about
>taking the time out of your day to back up why you like them
based and wholesome
is cod even worth it when the pc version exists?
afaik it's just cod4 campaign with nunchuks and worse graphics
trauma center second opinion/new blood/team
you can also use joycons and the ds4 for their motion controls
bluetooth passthrough is better for the actual bluetooth part, but the dolphinbar is "good enough" and provides the ir shit.
what's retroarch?
