Humanoid Angels are accurate as well as those alien looking ones. The complex ones are cherubim, seraphim, thrones etc. Lower ranks like archangels and regular guardian angels are usually depicted as humanoid.

I listened to Alex Jones screaming about hoards of people experiencing similar things while tripping on DMT, and it's got me thinking. Isn't it more likely, that instead of being in touch with another plane of existence, that since we are all of similar backgrounds, and have witnessed similar things in our lives, that we would obviously experience similar things when we trip our fucking balls off? Chimeric humanoid creatures telling us vague shit that really amounts to nothing except maybe the pondering of our ultimate end.

Not really. There's the Sphinx like description of the cherbim, the firey description of the Seraphim, and the wheel within a wheel, that sounds more akin to a vehicle than an actual conscious thing. Most other biblical descriptions are something like "blinding light" which might just be a reference to the firey Seraphim.
