after i'm done with this plat, i'm done with yakuza till the next one they put out.
i can't go through these so close together, so playing them yearly is the best for me.
last time i played 0 was in 2017 when i was going for the plat, and i've had no desire to go back to it.

I'm a big JRPG fan, and I'm still early so I'm not judging yet but I still have yet to see where all the "best RPG system in years" praise is coming from. Granted I haven't even unlocked jobs yet but it just feels like combat is too random with how most moves are positioning based and yet both allies and enemies move around randomly with no way to influence it.

Bulletproof upgrades to the best one. Either play shogi and buy the one from there or wait until you get to Kamurocho and buy the same one for 10mil from Le Marche.

I never had any difficulties while using the DLC characters, it's a breeze.

These fucking games almost take me longer to play to 100% than they do for the devs to make them.

I really liked the HEAT actions for Kiryu in Yakuza 0 if he's positioned near a wall and grabs an enemy (two gut punches then palms the enemy's head straight into the wall).

Majima's HEAT actions were pretty cool too.

Yes. The DLC characters make the grind nonexistent. You can get #1 ranking in a little over 3 hours if you play the minigame nonstop. After that, you're farming shareholder meetings for 3 million yen a pop.
