This didn't need to be an online game. It needed to be a solid single player game, with an optional online content at best.
The reason people got excited for this shit was because muh squeenix aesthetics into a Marvel game. I suppose they wanted something like FFXV with marvel skins, but got Anthem with the cast of those marvel porn parodies.
