What are some seemingly innocent games that are actually very political?
What are some seemingly innocent games that are actually very political?
Baldi's Basics
If you haven't played this get out of the thread right now and get your ass to it
Why is Rouge a libertarian?
She's the most capitalist character in the series aside from maybe Eggman. Everything she does is for money.
That doesn't make her a libertarian though. That just makes her a capitalist.
Shadow would be Authoritarian as all hell what even is this bullshit
I never need this to exist. WHY did you make it
Here's an answer.
Rare games seem to have themes that criticize capitalism.
>Banjo-Tooie
Grunty Industries is a corrupt corporation run by Gruntilda. It's responsible for polluting surrounding areas, and is even shown drilling for oil in Hailfire Peaks.
>Conker's Bad Fur Day
Working-class guy who just wants a normal life is screwed over by a bunch of rich assholes.
>Yooka-Laylee
The main villain is literally named Capital B, and he's a business owner.
Disco Elysium. Its advertised as a wacky detective game and the game does not give any indications its political
she's not a libertarian unless she fucks kids, user
I've come to make an announcement! All leftists are to report to the helipad immediately!
The Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero series.
Conker spends a lot of the game chasing money and at the end becomes King.
Rouge loves human cock
>He doesn't know
Did you miss the monologue he gives in the end?
And winds up depressed as fuck because of it.
Hell, they were originally gonna have him commit suicide after the credits, with the only reason why they didn't go through with it was because that kind of ending wouldn't allow for a sequel.
>Tails
>Kid
Dude's like 27.
He's 8, actually.
Yeah in fox years. That's like 50 in human years. He's gonna be dead soon.
Yeah anti-capitalism has been a subtle (and increasingly less subtle) popular message for decades now. It's been a lot of fun, even, and a useful critique. But I feel like we are reaching peak anti-capitalism, and I pray that people realize the issue is more about corporate welfare (keep the big corporations big at all costs) and preventing an actual free market, which would be the true solution here. Socialism just makes the problem move to another country; you have to make a set of rules that entices the villains to play your game.
Thus ends my very video game related rant.
Applying an economic axis to Sonic characters is really something else. But me lining up between Knuckles/Chaotix makes me suddenly have a stake in this nonsense.
I see you have never played a game after Sonic Adventure 2. He decides to forget his past and pursue his own future as a government dog, and even disobeys his orders plenty of times. Hes pretty libertarian now.
Eggman is 100% an ancap though
Are you a retard? Everything he does is against rulers and he wants nothing more than them to fall. Shadow is completely against dictators.
>government dog
>libertarian
I don't know which of these you don't understand but they do not match
Bugsnax
Cringe
Based man of taste.
ALL VIDEO GAMES ARE POLITICAL
I wouldn't say "all". Pac-Man and Pong aren't political.
sorry i guess I should have greentexted that
How does Amy do it bros? She's not even the best Sonic girl, not even one of the best, but she's the one I've fapped to the most. I don't know if it's just because she had highest amount of high quality lewds or what, but I would fill her small womb with enough baby batter to impregnate a small nation.
