Are the rumours true that the U.S. military not only fund these games as recruitment tools but also help write the storylines?
Are the rumours true that the U.S...
What's wrong with government propaganda? Literally every relevant country does this.
Yes but in a modern proper country you'd think they could be a little more subtle. They don't have to rub it in our faces.
I doubt it but its obvious they do get more dumb recruits out of them
I love our military but I wish we were smarter. Theres a reason you cant buy booze at 18 but you can sign up for the military.
They like em dumb n young.
>>I love our military
>They like em dumb n young.
I don't see what's wrong with that. I mean it's the military ffs. It's a perfectly viable option for younger people who want to see all sorts of exciting foreign places and gain valuable 'real-world' experience!
Not gonna lie, I get the urge to join the military while I play the campaign.
Probably not
>if enough people do something wrong then it's okay
Strength, Pride, Discipline.
These ideals have enabled the Confederate Marine Corps and Colonial Fleet to defend Confederate interests along the Galactic Rim for more than two centuries. Marines come from all walks of life, but they are united in their devotion to the preservation of the Confederate way of life.
The Corps offers countless opportunities for young men and women to see the sector and gain valuable real world experience. We will train you. We will teach you. We will shape you into an efficient warrior, garnering respect and admiration from your peers. We can even help you work past criminal and/or anti-social tendencies through counseling, drug therapy, and neural resocialization.
Available positions within the Corps are listed by Occupational Field (OF) and include the Preferred Experience Base (PEB) and Occupational Summary (OS) for each Field.
>Are the rumours true that the U.S. military not only fund these games as recruitment tools but also help write the storylines?
Not really. Many former military are brought in as consultants for authenticity in games, but the DoD proper isn't wasting it's time making conference calls to fucking Treyarch.
America's Army was the US Army's foray into videogames, now they're trying to get into esports along with the Navy.
The Marine Corps made it's own Doom wad and that's about it. It's also why we're the best branch.
Semper Fi.
What did you think of the twist? I thought it was fucking retarded.
>Are the rumours true that the U.S. military not only fund these games as recruitment tools?
Of course, it's not even a secret
>but also help write the storylines?
Doubtful, but they try to make possible real events
We're entering a new Cold War soon, do you think it's a coincidence that Cold War was released this year?
>Rumours
It's not a rumour. It's well known that the militaries of most countries fund certain media projects as easy advertising
Join the space force. That's where the action is gonna be.
>muh russian bad
Everyone in the military is a bum who drinks and does drugs so it's even funnier when they try to enforce rules like this.
I thought they only made those Americas Army games that were kinda like flashpoint. Or was that just a red herring?
>still eats crayons
Seek help schizo
I was in a joint branch environment and all the branches loved to make le quirky crayons jokes.
So me and my boys bought candy crayons and made sure to eat them infront of them. They loved it. Especially the Air Force gals. ;)
I bet you're either overweight or weigh only 100 lbs soaking wet. I also bet you dont even know how to hold a gun, or couldnt survive in the wilderness for more than a day.
why would you believe that poster
yeah sure, as if the last 20 years of CoD, i REALLY wanted to join the military in any branch!
fucking idiots, kill yourselves!
>Game allows you to join the Commies, nuke Europe and kill all of your friends
Also
>It's propaganda because the Yankee dogs aren't the bad guys reeee
Fuck off cuckservative
UHHHH WTF guys? The CIA didn’t try to create mentally conditioned super soldiers irl right?
Its more about the military not wanting the recruits to question any orders you are given.
When you are young you are more reserved and go along with whatever people say most of the time.
When your older and wiser you start to question shit.
>Kill that kid recruit
>30 year old recruit
>Why?
>18 year old recruit
>OH FUCK YEA SIR
Is there a career where women are more blown out than the military? I’ve fucked army girls and they were the biggest roasties I’ve ever seen
>They like em dumb n young
Any military worth a dime wants "dumb n young" soldiers. Easier to indoctrinate and more physically capable.
Yes, nursing. If she's military or a nurse it means she probably gets more action than a prostitute.
it wouldn't surprise me, but why don't more military based games follow the drone model?
i remember a few years ago russia offered contracts to high ranked WoT players, a low strategy high control game at the higher levels.
>indoctrinate
>Is there a career where women are more blown out than the military?
Nope. Military is full of nice guys who validate them too.
I had a feeling Adler was gonna betray me from the trailer alone.
I couldn't think of a better word for mentally drilling rules and shit like that.
The military love low IQ shitters so it wouldn't surprise me
.t never served
the dumb and young types are the chief cause of all the fuckups and retarded rules that the higher ups hate, but they are necessary to a degree since age and maturity normally comes with diminished physical performance too. It's a hard balancing act.
Why are women even allowed in? Serious question, they literally can't do shit there's almost 0 special forces who are women they fail basic pt most of the time, they're draining money by getting boob jobs paid for by military because they're "depressed" over it, what a fucking joke
>video games do not cause violence
>the military uses video games to encourage people to act out violence
so which one is it?
liberals are the ones who hate military propaganda though
Your country pretends they don't do it
>Why are women even allowed in?
Because we can find shit for them to do. That's basically it.
>No you can't shoot communists and terrorists this is literally propaganda
I don't think it's even a rumor or a secret, afaik COD openly has advisors from the US military "help" them make COD games (e.g. they make sure their depiction of the military is favorable).
back when COD WWII was coming out some army recruiters had an early copy of the game and they came to my college campus and set up a booth where they let people play it. so yes, COD has been a recuitment tool for the US military for years
>U.S. military not only fund these games
What kind of world do you retards live in? COD is literally one of the most lucrative, cashcow AAA franchises in the history of gaming. Whatever "dude here's some cash to show off our new fighter jet" money is a drop in the bucket for COD and the US military could go bankrupt and these games would still be pumped out every year and sell tens of millions each iteration.
Men peak physically in their late 20's which is when they'd typically be an NCO assuming they enlist at 18.
>Men peak physically in their late 20's
LOL do people believe this redpill cope?
