specially with godhome, that shit should take you around a hundred hours if you get invested so much with the game that, even if it's painful, should add a ton to your playtime
The rest of the game is extremely enjoyable and you should be able to get 200 hours out of it if you're into experimentation, story and replayability. Not to mention the modding, which is great. Playing Hollow Knight with Randomizer is pretty perfect

Try Synthetik and Streets of Rogue then. Synthetik is a bit more focused with it being a roguelike that revels in gun variety, but SoR is hard to describe. It's quite open to interpretation since you can buy slaves as a fireman so you can send them on a suicide mission to help you retrieve the muffin you need for the resistance in order to overthrow the major.
