I don't mind it when your units die that they die for good. What I DO mind is that the game essentially makes you have an A and a B team that you run so that your A team can rest up if their feelings get hurt. The sanity system seemed interesting at first but it's just a pain in the ass at the end. That and the corpses being two of the biggest missteps the devs made. The game is carried by it's great sound and art which is undoubtedly very well done.

Big HP
Big CHOP damage

I liked him. Especially when he boiled alive in the Hag's Cauldron the whole fight while I killed her and survived.

what the FUCK is happening in this webm

There will be eventully a town event where you can ressurect one of your fallen heroes. So don't worry, you'll get him back with all the pimples and pus.

(He'll be level 1 though.)

>use hero that has such bad aim that he makes Xcomm RNG look good.
You have nobody to blame but yourself. Did you not see how bad he was in intermediate dungeons? If you want a tanky frontliner, go crusader or man at arms. If you have the DLC, flagellant can also do well there.
Leper is for memes and color of madness. Maybe specific boss fights if you feel like it.

>have to boost his ACC
>completely useless if he gets shuffled

>use hero that has such bad aim that he makes Xcomm RNG look good.

>terrible acc
>can't hit backline at all
>requires buffs or other support to function
>meh camping skills
>gets fucked if shuffled, can't even go straight to the front like flagellant
>heaven forbid he gets an acc debuff on him, enemies have high evasion normally, or they buff their evasion
>doesn't have any healing or stress healing for other heroes to offset this
Fucking garbage.

Serves you right for using one of the worst classes in the game

Decided to get out of my comfort zone and try a genre i don't really play all that much. Started playing this like 2 days ago and i'm having a blast.
Couple of friends of mine told me Bounty Hunter is bad unless you build specifically around marking skills and i kinda wanna make him work since i dig his aesthetics and gameplay style. Does he work well enough with Houndmaster? I've been enjoying him alot too and want more insight on the kinds of teams you can build.

He works well with anyone who can Mark (Houndmaster, Arbalest, Musketeer, Occultist, other Bounty Hunters). Other than that he has great Move/Knockback and Stun skills.

Hey, I've tried playing this game and every time it feels like I'm fighting a losing battle. After 10 hours of gameplay I don't understand how to use half the characters effectively and no idea how to pair them or scale into later content.

Can anyone give me some tips to push me in the right direction?

General rule of thumb is to kill enemies in the back rows first, as they're usually the ones that deal Stress damage, which is infinitely more dangerous than regular health damage. Second, the strongest combat stat in the game is, without question, Speed. Outside of combat Scouting is key to not getting Ambushed and raped on turn one.

What are your favorite classes?

How the fuck do people have problems in this game?
Like it's literally one of the easiest fucking games with some basic grinding
grind until you get good trinkets
levelup your gang of retards
take a PD, ves and a ranged + melee for the first two slots

Between the stuns and heals and actual DPS you should be fine

If he isn't in a mark party, he is pretty bad. That said, there is a party you can build around marking that synergizes well. Arbalist, Occultist, Houndmaster, Bounty Hunter. You get heals with Arb and Occ, you get good camping skills with hound, stuns with hound and BH, and damage from pretty much everybody if you do it right.

>(He'll be level 1 though.)
When it fired for me i picked some vestal i didn't care about because i was short on healers but she was still lv2.

everything he can hit has high damage resist most of the time. he cant hit very hard when hes doing like -50% damage

That's what you get for using the second worst class in any context except Endless Harvest.

>Big HP
Not really that important.
>Big CHOP damage
With absolutely shit acc, slow speed, poor range that only targets the least relevant positions. Also only workable in one position.

Marking teams are shit and literally all of the other DPS classes are better than him.

it really be like that

>one of the worst classes in the game
>the second worst class
What's the absolute worst one? Bottom three?

Let me guess, he got shuffled and became a paperweight?

Abom > Leper > Arbalest/Musketeer

Everything else has varying levels of utility, personally I would also consider Bounty Hunter, Grave Robber and Jester to be pretty bad and/or pointless.

No. I was having a rather easy time then hit a part of two mushroom guys and two little shroom guys who marked and blighted the fuck out of him. He didn't even Death's Door once, just straight up died. Fucker.

Which wouldn't have happened if you had used non-shit classes with a decent speed stat, higher damage output at position 3/4 and/or someone with an interrupt.

Should've brought best girl to clear market status, right guys?
