Because they took the chance at letting the grassroots scene be the face of their game and they blew it by literally being rapists and pedophiles. It wouldn’t sting so much if it hadn’t been people who got actual jobs from Nintendo like D1 and etc. Why would they support the grassroots scene going forward?
