I fucking hate Ace Combat

Normal isn't even that hard especially with checkpoint

What's wrong with it? First person HUD is so much fun, though 3rd-person is easier.

We already had this thread before, more importantly, price drop on the new DLC planes when?

Yeah, thought it'd do better on Saturday night but I guess the AC fandom is more insular than I thought.

How the FUCK do I S rank last hope on ace difficulty? I ID all my targets before killing them, I spawn and kill Axeman, I even try to kill the drones as quick as possible. GIVE ME S RANK.

>Paid DLC for star wars planes

What do you consider the most kino moment in the Ace Combat series? pic related for me

Those superweapons. Wish I had a 360 for 6 but have to make do. The battle with the satellite in 5 was kino.

tbqh while I love the nosferatu, ADMM feels pretty underwhelming. Damn infinity nerfs...

Honestly, I probably need it. I can't fly for shit.

IIRC ranks are based only on completion time + final score. Don't bother IDing, kill as much as possible as fast as possible

I could have sworn you don't get points for unidentified targets, even if they're correct.

Wiping out Scream and Rage

I don't think that's the case, but I may be wrong as it's been awhile since I last played.

FYI completion time doesn't rollback if you restart from a checkpoint so if you fuck up the second half you have to replay the first

You don't get points for unknowns. However, IDing targets takes up precious time. Last Hope is such a shitty mission, Faceless Soldier is probably the only mission that is worse.

Hey buddy, still alive?

I enjoyed the level where you had to defend the super weapon from four to get it enough time to let it fire one last shot. It's cool since you can see the damage that the 4 protag did to it.

So what makes Casual Easy actually easier? Do they not lock onto you? Do they shoot themselves down? No fail states?

When Journey Home plays

Yes. How are you holding out?

How am I supposed to know what planes to buy if all the stats are basically lies and they're all such huge investments at the start?

You ain't no Daredevil.

Just never use the A10. You'll always regret 9t;\

AC3 had the best soundtrack. Prove me wrong.

>Just never use the A10.
But it looks so cool.
I instead spent all my money on the MIG line and regret it since I can barely turn to defeat drones and major pilots.

Stats barely matter, but special weapons do. Get the F/A-18 and you have the three most useful in a single plane and you're not that far from the Gripen if you want LACMs for Faceless Soldier

normal even gives you infinite missiles

>tfw no ace of aces

You should buy Su-33 when you earn enough money and proceed through the flanker line, all of them have great maneuverability and are nimble as fuck
