i wonder at what point a PS3 slim is gonna be worth more than it's retail price

Sega Saturn with virtual fighter 2 Dayton USA and virtual cop. Also have the best version of Die Hard The Arcade game with Deep Scan and Die Hard Trilogy and two controllers

Not for decades probably. Consoles from the 80s and 90s that sold tens of millions less are still worth fractions of their retail prices.

maybe when im 60 i can sell it for $1000

THIS IS THE FIRST NINTENDO DS EVER BUILT

>NES
>Rare

Lol?

The guy was a dumbass and thought this was the first nes ever made plus it didn't even work.

maybe when your grandkids are 60. console re-releases never do particularly well. the top-load re-release of the nes doesnt even hit $200, despite being 40 years old and the best version you can get.

I loved this dude. He killed himself.

watch the entire segment of it. its fucking hilarious.

Those american made locker-room/pawn-shop shows are so ridiculously scripted that it physically hurts.
Euro shows that do similiar things are more realistic and authentic.

All of these "values" on retro games and old trading cards are all a lie.

Its actually so incredibly hard to liquidate these kinds of assets for anywhere near what people claim their value is.

You're lucky to get 30-40% of what the internet says their estimated value is from another individual person, and you're lucky to get 10-20% of what the internet says their estimated value is from a reselling business.

Why are there so many american tv shows where they lie about buying things cheap and selling it expensive?

Everything on TV here is heavily scripted.

You have to be legally disabled not to notice.

OH YEAH

AND THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SAY "OH BRO YEAH I GOT A REALLY GOOD DEAL FOR THIS CARD BRO"

Its all a fucking meme

Its to make people think paying $50k for a TCG card from 1999 is a good deal because the internet lies about them being worth $150k.

Aint nobody paying $150k for that, its just a random value estimated based on 1 or 2 fairy-tale trades that never occurred, or who occurred between 2 people who know each other and are pretending to sell each other cards for such high values.

So then you go out and buy $50k card thinking you got a "CRAZY GOOD DEAL" because some random liars claimed they sold theirs for $150k in some fraudulent fake trade to one of their friends who are trying to artificially increase value of the cards

Same for CSGO skins family member who shouldn't have any sort of credit comes to me all the time saying I got this cool fucking awp skin for cheap - I check what he paid for it and what they are currently selling for he over paid by 100% cause the seller was like this skin is gonna go up in value.

i wish i was good at CSGO just so i can play enough of it to potentially get really rare skins just to sell them to idiot kids.

can i get a link i have no idea who he is or even the show but you fags got my interest

sorry, potato quality but its really the audio thats important

You don't have to play csgo just play the SCM set up buy/sell orders the issue is getting your steam wallet funds into actual money there are 3rd parties but they tend to take a huge % so make sure you do the math.

forgot to add. he mentions a nes selling for like $13k. i believe its that was that one time a mom sold a system + game lot but it happened to include a super rare power pad game that only had like a thousand copies made.

Fuck

That's not how it works at all.
CS:GO as a game is only a cover up to the gambling that happens in the back, in similiar way that Vegas casinos call themselves "game houses".
You could not even know how to play FPS games and get the rarest skins.
It works like a roulette, you give money upfront, spin the lever, and you either get worthless blue skin or get very lucky and get something worth a lot more.

Most NES don't work nowadays. He's delusional that a working one would be for that much

>Calls it a Nintendo DS
>"Last one that sold online went for 13k"
>value ??????
lel

you still have to pay to open a case.

feel free to try your luck and get a feel for how much money youd lose trying to roll a knife.

That boomer Barry was based

oh, i was always under the impression that you are given random skins during gameplay or some shit.like how lootboxes are handled or something

yeah, fuck paying then. not going to bother but thanks for the info

Haha poor sob he looked like he was going to have a meltdown at the end

He killed himself over this iirc.

Valve is directly responsible for lootbox shit in the West with TF2 crates. That shit was contained in Asia before Valve.

I have a limited edition star wars ps1.
Probably not worth much at all.

You're late by 4 years but you could have gotten major stickers some of mine have gone up enough to profit from them. But thanks to some youtubers even fucking casual fag is now doing it.

>Wow I haven't seen stuff this good in 15 years! What I can tell you about it is *Proceeds to literally lie about what it is and the value of it*, worth about $3K
>Cool, give me $4.5K
>No
>What about $5K?
This is so retarded. Why are am*rican shows always so painfully cringy and scripted? I mean goddammit it's television, everything is scripted, but you don't have to be that obvious about it... At least in Pawn Stars you had the parts where they bully Chumlee so that's entertaining, but wtf is this shit?
