>switches are still $300 on black friday
Switches are still $300 on black friday
What makes you think they would put switches on sale when they can't keep up with demand all year
Thankfully they're 300 with a game, instead of $360 with a game.
don't forget the $300 worth of games you'll have to buy since nintendo never lowers the price
jesus, just pirate the shitty yuzu emulator and all the games for free?
go with cemu if you want botw
black friday is a meme. There's like 1 or 2 actually good sales and the rest are either cheap junk made cheaper or putting a $3000 MSRP on a $1000 laptop and acting like $950 is a sale
It's those 2 combined in recent years you are lucky if you get something you want on sale next weekend.
I've owned a switch since 2018. You aren't missing out.
>extremely poor hardware
>like 3 worthwhile exclusives
>evergreen prices
>screen protector is mandatory
>joycons are guaranteed to have problems
>awful paid online
I don't think anybody really came out saving actual money on black friday. It's a manufactured marketing hoax.
>x product on sale
>you need other shit that isn't and mostly at full retail
Yeah no one saves money
Thanks user, i needed that.
There was a time that it mattered, but it really fell the fuck off in the past decade. Most of the shit that goes on sale, goes on sale a decent amount of times a year. At most, it's just a guaranteed sale day, but nothing to really write home about. I remember how fun it was just watching the complete lunacy of people trying to pack into stores to get shit, but COVID-aside, it's just not the same anymore with everything being online.
>being a brokeboi
You have no say in this matter.
also you dont wanna play handheld for long times due to cramps
>Nintendo blaming customers for the joycon drift
I thought japan was about quality, guess it's just a more expensive "made in china"
Thanks for the reality check. I’ll just continue staring blankly into the blackness of my room until I die sad and alone.
The best part is I know damn well when we get the inevitable Switch Pro next year its going to be atleast 400 dollars, they won't price drop the normal Switch at all, and is going to be scalped TWICE as hard as the PS5 is right now.
i bought one to play botw and odyssey and sold it
yeah I am hoping to get a CPU and a Mobo and so far no real price drops. I mean like 5 bucks at one place but who cares
I have played tens of thousands of hours on handhelds and never had a cramp. What the fuck are you doing to get cramps?
Nah, both systems are already heavily overpriced. They'll drop them to 150 and 250 and the pro will be 350.
This. I've looked at a Switch a few times but I always decide not to do it because like
>actual console is £280
>games are all £50 - £60, even the old ones like botw
>need screen protector, carry case, pro controller, etc etc etc (another £100 or so)
>the special edition of rune factory 4 is literally £60, a £30 increase over the base game, and it's the only way to get the swimsuit DLC
>end reward is a console that will inevitably experience joycon drift and need repairing
It's just really hard to justify a £500 - £600 total cost for the sake of 3 or 4 games.
If you can't afford $300 you can't talk about being broke. Most gaming pcs are more expensive than several switches.
Lmao making people pay £30 for swimsuit dlc because they know coomers will still buy it is unironically based.
Sounds like you're just fucking retarded, honestly.
Back in 2018 I knew that old Switches, i.e. the ones that can be hacked with a piece of tinfoil, would soon become harder to find new, and faggots would overprice them online because L@@K RARE SWITCH. So I spent 200 quid on a perfect condition "refurb" that was just returned the day some kid got it and couldn't play cawadoody.
Now, I play every new release for it days early, have never spent a single penny on software for it, and all I've bought is some 10 dollar joycon shells to give it a fucking d-pad.
I want one only for ring fit adventure
>still selling like hotcakes
>no actual competition yet
Supply and demand, son. They have no reason to make it cheaper.
>bought a switch
>never play it
>bought pokemon sword
>3d models arent as cool as the original sprites from gen 1-2
>smash is laggy as fuck online and doesnt feel fun like when i play local
>animal crossing is literally just chores i do at home
>more mario
thinking of giving it to my nephew desu, little early xmas gift to keep him sane
>damn nintendo for having games to buy, why can't they be like X/Y
>don't like Nintendo games
>damn nintendo, why you make nintendo games
Every fucking time
>switches are overpriced in EU (retail at about 330$)
>they go to 300$ ONLY on black friday-related promos
>mfw the Switch Pro is homebrew/hacking immune since day 1 and for a long while
