I'd say that piracy is only morally neutral in three cases, and in one of them I'm inclined to agree with the anti-piracy side.
1) You live in a very poor country where the average worker can't obtain vidya anyway or don't have easy access to the game you want to purchase.
2) You are too poor to afford games.
3) There are no trials/ demos for the game, or what demo is provided isn't enough to give an honest impression
Now, the first two sound very similiar, but 2) is kinda a really grey zone in that it eliminates the profit motive; you are no longer incentivized to work harder in a capitalistic system to gain more luxury goods.
So if the only reason you're pirating is because you're poor in a relatively rich country (first world, mostly), then you'd have to be a socialist/ communist to morally justify not paying for a game.
