Pretty much the first story mission has you going to see a witch who can cure your aunt's illness. You end up hanging the witch's granddaughter, becoming engaged, and then impregnating her, all within hours of meeting her. She then joins your party and travels with you. Later on you lose your memory and end up hanging and impregnating another girl as well.

There's two versions of the first game, the DOS original and a remake for Windows XP. The XP version is the only one on Steam, but it has no translation. DOS is fully (brokenly) fan translated, and available free. I recommend that one, the only difference aside from graphics is some dungeon layouts are a bit harder.
Cultivaion is pretty much just amassing ki into yourself which makes you stronger and makes you live longer with the eventual goal of becoming immortal or the strongest being in the universe.

Some stories are fine to read, it's just that since they're webnovels and in China the authors are paid by the chapter, they get padded out to the nth degree. That and 90% of the popular stories end up following the same formula, so finding a decent one that doesn't become generic is hard.

Based, I love that one. I just found the comedy ended up getting too much of a focus in A Will Eternal so the more serious moments ended up getting ruined. Also Bai Xiaochun acting like a child despite being more than a hundred years old was pretty jarring. He was great at the start of the series but never really seemed to grow beyond that.
