you turn into this earthen alley way and find abandoned leaning pillers barely staying up, and perched upon each is a dark and deadly assassin waiting in the shadows to kill you.
You turn into this earthen alley way and find abandoned leaning pillers barely staying up...
those textures roflmao
you valiantly fend off every attack and survive, and proceeding futher you round a short corner and see this: a bridge barely holding on, one only a fool would cross. At the other end of that bridge stands a fortress of even darker energy. death lingers in the air.
I quit the game and play the superior Dark Souls III™
I take a massive fucking shit on the ground and coat my sword in the shit.
I also piss in my armor so my boots make that sound when you got like water in them and it keeps sticking to your legs/feet and then unsticking really loudly.
>forgot to post pic damn it
dark souls 2 is the superior game
What about them?
fuck you its shit
but for real, dark souls 2 's gameplay isn't the best of the series but the fucking atmosphere it tries to create, the landscapes and legendary vision to these locals blow my fucking mind.
during a boss fight(those 3 tall golden fuckers) one of them threw his shield at me. after i killed them and they disappeared, look what was in the wall still? his shield. lasting evidence of a hard fought battle.
damn i got excited about sharing these screens with ya'll and it dies immediately.
figures.
shut the fuck up
If the game hadn't have had the god awful lighting it did I would agree with you. It's actually hideous
I like ds2s gameplay much more than 3's spam roll and chug down a shot of estus. I just wish some of the bosses were harder. I tried playing ds3 again today and its just not enjoyable to me. I can see why people like it but it just doesn't have the same feeling as des, ds, or ds2. Feels like they took the artorias fight and fed him a bunch of meth then they fed you a bunch of meth. og souls games ftw
that fucking helm looks so good ingame
Whats your favorite area in the game OP?
It's funny how the best defense DS2 fans can muster is deflection to DS3.
Also please don't lump in DeS or DS1 with either of those two shitheaps.
>og souls
>ds2
Not defending ds2 all I said is that I personally like the gameplay, retard. And the only reason I bring up 3 is because I literally played it today to try and get into it for third time. Also I was talking about gameplay and its clearly the black sheep in how it plays. Much much faster. Thats not a bad thing so don't get your panties twisted.
Ds2 and Ds1 control much more similar than ds1 and ds3 thats just objectively true.
DeS and DS1 are og dark souls. DS2 some kind of frankestein monster resembling dark souls and DS3 is Bloodborne souls.
You dont compare games only by the controls wtf. If you say DS2 is og only because of controls, then you can say the same about DS3.
If you reread my first post I was talking about "gameplay" and "feeling" which i consider ds2 to have the og dark souls feel.
Ds2's gameplay is literally best part of the game and best of the series.
It is only held back by clunky movement(fixed by simple.ini change) and somewhat broken hitboxes on SOME enemies.
ds2 is not og sorry. not in regards to gameplay, or world design, or feel, or whatever.
just accept the general rating is ds1>>ds3>>>>ds2 among soulfags and ds3>=ds1>ds2 among casuals.
its ok to like a shit game, but trying to convince other your game isnt shit is pathetic.
I remember this section. I just use my +10 longbow and shoot them down one by one.
Kill jester
>Ds2 and Ds1 control much more similar
Are you fucking high? DS3 in many ways is just DS1 but faster while DS2 feels completely different. Shit like forcing the movement into cardinal directions, everything about ADP, roll distance being tied to carry weight, the completely different animations that look weirdly mocapped etc etc etc.
Were the Nahr Alma cultists like you are about to become?
>virgin bow sniping
Just run through the valley across the bridge and jump onto either ledge and watch the weirdoes fuck up their pathing and fall down to their deaths.
>Shit like forcing the movement into cardinal directions, everything about ADP, roll distance being tied to carry weight, the completely different animations that look weirdly mocapped etc etc etc.
But... thats present in both ds2 and ds1, but not in ds2...
Thanks for prooving the point I guess.
This is the only right opinion
Or die trying
It's funny how much of the game can be trivialized by using a bow. It heavily relies on cheap ambushes so it makes sense that sniping from a distance and pulling enemies one by one would have that effect though. Shrine of Amana especially just becomes a cakewalk.
