An open letter to King Bowser

Someone is trying to stop me.

Pathetic.

Let's try this again.

An open letter to King Bowser.

Thanks for the letter, dear stranger. However, Nintendo (as a society in action) is no more, having been bought recently by the Daft Punk Society s.p.a. limited, therefore your letter has been rejected. On the other hand, the Super Smash Bros franchise has been deleted to make space for the Daftendo renovation project, so your problems should not be a thing anymore. Enjoy the last Fighter Pack coming soon as a goodbye gift, Daft Punk from the Interstella 5555 series!

Melee fags are stinky and smelly and should die.

Finally. Now I will buy your games.

Roleplaying is just going to make Doug even less inclined to read the thing. Even if it's a good cause.

I thought for a moment Zig Forums was about to do something fun and witty for a change, but I expanded the image asnd it turned out to be smashsperging

>Requires their own copy of melee to work
Haha, holy shit, people are actually stupid enough to believe this.

I WAS BLOCKED BY TWITTER AND EVERY SINGLE MAJOR INFORMATION UPLOAD WEBSITE WHEN I TRIED TO POST THIS IMAGE.

INFORMATION CONTROL IS REAL. YOU MUST FIGHT BACK. THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL SOMETHING YOU CARE ABOUT!

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE FUCKING NOISE. LISTEN TO THE SIGNAL.

>Assuming most melee players actually rip a rom from a disc to play online
The vast majority get it from a website, not defending Nintendo at all, but that's not the way to argue it at all, anyone with half a lick of common sense will see through it. This is simply a means for Nintendo to find a way to legally damage the melee scene, the game itself is damaging to the Smash brand as it created an entire subset of players they don't want to appeal to.

NINTENDO HAS ABSOLUTELY NO LEGAL GROUNDS TO STAND ON IN SHUTTING THESE EVENTS DOWN.

EVERYONE. GO TO THESE EVENTS. BRING YOUR COPIES OF THE GAME. DO NOT SHUT IT DOWN.

Why the FUCK would they not want to appeal to an audience??? That makes no sense!

They will make more money if they appeal to BOTH core AND casual audiences It is GOOD for EVERYONE.

Imagine Bowser actually get to read this and writes a blanket statement as an answer and then also sends goodies lke some mario soap

fag

YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I AM TALKING TO YOU.

CONTINUE REUPLOADING THIS IMAGE WHEREVER YOU CAN. AND THANK YOU.

This is why we have killed smash

This is some autistic shit

Honestly as much as I like smash the Melee fanbase makes me want to see it burn.

How many times do you have to be told that playing a ripped version isn't legal even if you own the game.

This is either immense autism, or phenomenal bait. Either way, Bowser can't do shit. Japan holds the rights, not the US.

I thought this was going to be one of the "write a letter one word at a time" threads. Fucking hell you Meleefags ruin everything.

keep crying meelefag,go play a real fighting game instead of bitching about your stupid mod

go take a shower already, smelee cuck

The c&d was sent by NoA so he could but they're well within their rights to pull it seeing as they were flaunting it's illegality and initially refused as it is.

same

How about we do it anyway

The letter, while well intentioned, is written so fucking cringe, but that's not even the real problem here. The real problem is the creek at the end about adding a "melee mode" to Ultimate or expecting it to be rereleased on the next console. The former is just something they will never care to do and including it just shoots the rest of your argument in the foot. The latter is not going to be possible because of how licenses work. Porting a game legally counts as a brand new game so the original licenses generally don't apply unless specifically accounted for in the original agreement and odds are, they weren't.

Cut the entire final section of the letter and leave the message at "stop punishing your fans for wanting to continue playing one of your old games".

Daft

>and including it just shoots the rest of your argument in the foot.
The entire thing is ridiculous since slippi doesn't work as intended on actual hardware as it is.
