is this game good?

Why the fuck were they straight up lying to their target audience about this? They just ended up building up hype for a product that wasn't ever going to exist.

it's a good rpg but it has absolutely nothing to do with SMT or fire emblem which it was advertised to be a crossover between

they released a trailer for a game that wasn't even in development yet and the game turned out different. same with some of the criticism for cb2077. basically devs need to stop getting so ahead of themselves. metroid prime 4 and elder scrolls 6 are more games with premature announcements

did they honestly expect westerners to want to play this shit? it's embarrassing even for people who like weebshit

An idol company footed the bill. The songs that came from it did pretty well

Pretty good and comfy. It's probably my favorite RPG from Atlus that I've played.

Rather generic, but some characters are cool and the combat is top-notch.

I really wish Atlus/Nintendo just came out and admitted that the crossover was canned and they decided to make TMS instead.

it's an okay JRPG but do not expect a SMTxFE crossover

Incidentally, any TMS character builds that you're proud of? In my current Lunatic walkthrough, I gave Itsuki this build, and it's been really good:

Thoron
Maziodyne
Thunder Strike
Wyrmicide
Dual Dispatch
Concentrate
Charge

All Upgraded Sessions + Lance-Thunder

Elec Expertise
Elec Expertise Ex
Sword Expertise
Martyr Espertise
Aether
Shura Soul
Fighting Spirit

Mixed Damage Itsuki with a focus on electricity. Wyrmicide still ensures he does good sword damage and Dual Dispatch ensures he's as good at enabling enemy bane sessions as ever.

I played persona 5 just recently. Is the combat same as p5?

It's just about the most generic, JRPG you can play pretty much. Not bad, but just meh.

it's more like Strange Journey but with annoying unskippable Session attacks

It's this, but with Smt combat.

Why do people like you think that a concept video meant they were gonna make a super edgy game?

Yes, it's basically like Persona but your personas are alternate versions of FE characters, and you fuse demon souls to give them new weapons and you can even promote them. Also, it doesn't have all the BS scheduling Persona has, and the story revolve around the Japanese idol industry.

Fusion accident.

KAWASHITAI

because of the SMT characters shown:

No Persona characters are in this trailer

i will never get over how much fucking sex this game caused

Otakus Otakuing.

If this was anything like a SMT game it would deconstruct idol culture, not embrace it.

Why are there so few Kiria or Eleanora lewds?

Idol deconstructions are overrated anyways they don't hold much weight to decostructing other genres.
Perfect Blue is fucking shit

Not him but it's because SMT and FE are super edgy.

Apparently this was supposed to be the start of a new franchise about other different franchises being made as a SMT game.

they tried to surf the idolfaggotry wave of the early 2010s

Dunno, but I'm glad it did.
