Don't worry about until you get the Swallow Slice skill. It let's you super-dash twice in any direction, including straight up.

After the Year 2 shit harvest, Sakuna throws a shitfit and tries to run home, only to have the family come looking for her in a panic, worried she's gonna die in the cold.
Year 3 is when Sakuna actually starts trying to create good harvests.

40$ is super high for this game, so I'm doing alright on a pirated version. Sadly, there's a bug where pic related happens at the top left and for 1~ second I can't input anything. I guess it's fair for a pirate like me, but it can get really annoying and the only way to make the game playable is to restart the computer after an hour of playing.

How do I get lots of Beast Hides? I seem to need so many for so many different things, but they seem so rare.
You don't need any skills to get it. Just get near the top of the map, launch a bird upwards and then grapple it to launch yourself higher.

Im stuck with the myrthe subquest where you need to have a traditional ventania meal. I tried different combinations of food made using potato, maize and corn but nothing happens. also bought cheese from tama but I cant see any recipes that use it. Also the soul stealing mask for Kintas subquest. The quest notes are unhelpful for these two

It's almost too brainless in combat, but at least its a big fuck you to fish/sparrows hordes.

Also kind of wish the game capped your stat gains for each area/boss, I'm not even being that efficient with farming but it feels like I'm overleveling most of the time.

I got them just after my harvest in autumn. Currently it is winter 1 and they are still alive and fine.

Yield is to get a large amount of rice. Heartiness is for better stat upgrade when you get the rice(but at the cost of less rice).
