Nobody plays the arcade though, the whole problem is DW dumps almost all of its resources into a product 98% of its user base doesn't play.

Issues started in 2019 when they started devoting less and less resources to story - their main selling point, as it serves to highlight and market the servants. They also poured immense resources to Saber Wars 2 and new Ishtar and both the banner and the event flopped hard. Then came 2020 and covid, and instead of providing entertainment to people in those troubled times, like most gacha, they resolved to literally rerun old events and do fuckall for several months.

Sorry to burst your bubble, broski, but this game is still pulling enough to easily stay afloat on the mobile market. FGO will not die unless its creators literally make it implode. Maybe 2 years of what stated would kill it, but let's face it. DW will right the course with some highly anticipated servants and there will be billions on the corporate account yet again. As much as I hate it, mobile games like those are making money and will continue to.
