Mapmaking is unironically an artform, there are some really beautiful maps with little crooks and crannies that just scream "attention to detail" in your face. It's like walking through a mini-art museum.

Some maps are interesting to explore. gm_construct is not really one of them. Some of the old RP maps have hidden bits.

Depends what you wanna do honestly. To this day I'm still a sucker for those maps where all the buildings are made out of physics enabled shit and you can trigger various natural disasters and attempt to survive them.
