There's nothing wrong with this. Not everyone is a virgin chud who spends all day playing games. Some of us have to work for a living.

I used trainers to finish all souls games on pc

There's also nothing wrong with a game not having difficulty options. The intended audiences are different.

There is literally nothing wrong with playing on easy mode. I never do myself, but to critisize what someone does in enjoying a piece of medium their own way is very ignorant. Because we know this thread will devolve into
>hurr durr you must be a retard or child to play on a low difficulty
Some people do not see vidya as a test of reflexes or competition ala sport, they see it more as a relaxing medium and wish to unwind as such.

It depends on whether or not the game is worth slogging through. I started playing Days Gone on my PS5 for example and like 6-8 hours in I’m already fucking getting tired of the game so I turned it down to easy and I’m trying to finish the story without doing too much of the side content. It’s in the PS Plus collection

depends. If a game gets nothing from difficulties but adjustments to numbers (IE deal half, take double damage on hard) then I'll usually play on whatever's closest to 100/100. I can't remember the last time a game I played actually changed when I raised the difficulty.

Your opinion doesn't matter

trump lost

The beutiful thing is yours matters just as much, and ergo the logic defaults back to "you do you", which is exactly what I said.

We're not all equal you stupid commie

Nah I just use cheat engine whenever I feel like it

>easy mode whiners are reddit boomers
do something else if you're so tired that you literally cannot engage with a game
based easy mode redditors, tired after a hard day at the cocksucking factory huh

Depends on how the difficulty is created. Is it just a health/damage differential? If the game is boring on normal turning up the difficulty will 99% of the cases just make it worse.

Nothing wrong with a game having difficulty options. Also nothing wrong with not having difficulty options. You don't go into a bookstore and complain because you can't understand the book you bought

low iq cope

I play all games on the hardest difficulty because i hate myself, then complain online when i get filtered.

If the games is a shooter. Yes.
If it has puzzles or racing mechanics, I up the difficulty.

When I was a kid I sometimes played games on easy to just run forward and mash buttons. Now I've become sentient I no longer have a use for easy mode.

Who didnt

I hate the assumption that you have to play all day to be good at some game. I find that most competent people who play are pretty decent if not good at single player games right out of the gate.

This, what the fuck? Modern games are extremely accessible on Normal. You have to be really fucking bad to have to go down to Easy.

Inherently there's nothing wrong with it. Problems occur when you try to discuss gameplay with people who have played on easy. You can't talk about bosses, strategy, hard sections, etc, because they had a completely different experience. In addition to that, you can hardly discuss mechanics because if they understood them enough for that, they wouldn't be playing on easy. And quite a few people who play on easy end up bored due to everything being a cakewalk and come out not liking a game. And unfortunately the very next difficulty level is too hard for them. I'm all for letting people have an easier experience, but a lot of them are defensive assholes who blame everything on the game.

Porn games yeah

How fucking retarded do you have to be to do that on modern games? Is your idea of fun just mindlessly pushing through each game as fast as possible with the least possible effort?

I like both.
Easy mode when I only care for story and gameplay is not so nice or too brutal, hello smt4
No difficulty mode like in souls games or sekiro, so you adapt and the bosses are designed with difficulty in mind.

And even worse is when they try to claim that they want accessibility options for disabled people, which are good features to have. But a lot of disabled people are beasts at games while you have many fully functioning adults (journalists) who are the shitters using these options.

The people who use disability options as a scapegoat are so full of shit. You have people like BrolyLegs who can play high level Street Fighter with their mouth. And even tells people on a regular basis to "git gud."
