>healing system similar to Estus from DaS3, critical hits heal a small part of your HP by default >poise is back, but is limited to only 4 to 5 armors, all of them are late game >character's lips actually move now >somehow was more gore than bloodborne >depending on the weapon you use, you either roll or dash >a serious lack of references to previous souls games, weapons like Moonlight Greatsword are missing

>Mi-Mi-Miya*sputters as he loses oxygen* MITSUBISHI-san, I am a VERY busy man, you must understand *eats* I am as of late working quite diligently on my newest book, The *fart* The WINDS of Winter, *sweats loudly* I have only so much time to devote to your little electronic amusement.*hacks up chicken bone* But what I find TRULY egregious, based on the material you have provided me, and *belches* based on your PREVIOUS work, is the complete lack of believable World-Building. In particulaaaaaaaarrrrrr*heart stops for 20 seconds* the complete LACK of any description of Lord Gwyn, who is a KING I suppose *snort* having ANY kind of discernible tax policy! His capital, Anal London I believe you so quaintly named it *chuckles* seems to be quite grandiose, aye? But how does he PAY for it all? Flying buttresses ah yes, great big knights patrolling around, who pays for THOSE? *urine stain slowly spreads on shorts* You've got to THINK about these things, man, or else I won't get any work done at all! *falls into diabetic coma*
>no Moonlight Thats how i know its BS. Its the signature FromSoft weapon.
Owen Mitchell
Ok retard
Oliver Hernandez
>depending on the weapon you use, you either roll or dash
fuck you, I'm mad that this is fake because that actually sounds perfect
Samuel Adams
wasn't in Sekiro
Jacob Nelson
Wasnt it an easter egg or something
Leo Foster
>critical hits heal Please fucking no please fucking no. Are we doomed to always have shit pvp in souls games?
Landon King
Sekiro wasn’t a souls game, you could even pause that game while changing items
Nathaniel Bailey
>caring about pvp
Nicholas Thompson
neither was Bloodborne technically
Hudson Cooper
Stop making up fake leaks retards. The only 100% verified leaks have been from Omnipotent, it was 3 lengthy posts and all from like a year ago. Yes, shocking isn't it, a FromSoft game is another FromSoft game, instead of somehow inexplicably being a non-From game despite being developed them. Also OP made all that shit up retard.
Luke Cooper
Sekiro didn't really have much of an equipment system to begin with. Only consumables and prosthetics, really.
Elijah Turner
Not a single one of Miyazakis games has been a clone of any of his others. They are all very unique and different from each other. Also none of them except Bloodborne could be described as "grimdark". Dark Souls especially has a lot of High Fantasy elements with a lot of beautiful and colorful places in its world, such as Anor Londo, Ash Lake, Darkroot Forest etc. None of his games have disappointed, and neither will this. You have obviously never played any of them. By the way, it has been confirmed Elden Ring is very classical High Fantasy.
Robert Thompson
Bloodborne had its differences, but Sekiro was much further away from Souls than Bloodborne was.
Jackson Bell
Sounds boring as hell, if you told me the magic is equal to Das2 then maybe you'd have my interest. But seeing DaS3 chances of that happening aren't likely.
Nicholas Hernandez
Bloodborne definitely was the darkest of them all (Of course it would be, it was full of Lovecraft worship for crying out loud), but Dark Souls still had some dark fantasy elements alongside the high fantasy, and was known for its Berserk worship.
Wyatt King
Neither was metal wolf chaos or kings quest. They still have moonlight greatsword in one form or another. Miyazaki himself confirmed no mlgs in sekiro.
Bentley Harris
Ds3 was a clone of bloodborne.
Brayden Smith
I really Hope Miyazaki have a bad experiênce on all that and combined with the shit Demon Souls REmake gets bitter over the West and Doubles down his own philosofies
Hudson Hall
Yes, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls had SOME Dark Fantasy elements. However, Demon's Souls was largely Low Fantasy genre due to its very grounded settings such as a realistic looking Boletarian wall, city and castle - or World 2 being a mine, or Shrine of Storms being very authentic and real to life looking castle ruin. And Dark Souls had all that High Fantasy that was full of that feeling of glory of a pantheon of deities, like their city of gods Anor Londo. Sekiro was also definitely not Dark Fantasy at all.
So that guy I was replying to is clearly a dumbfuck, Miyazaki has no kind of track record in just rehashing Dark Fantasy. Each of his game worlds has been very different in its themes and setting. And as we know from what Miyazaki and Omnipotent have said, Elden Ring is very much classical High Fantasy. They didn't compare it to Lord of the Rings, but that's the closest comparison I can make. Elden Ring is a world with many races (who knows what they are, elves, dwarves, ogres etc.? They didn't specify) as well as demigods and gods all living and existing in the world at the same time - having both settings of mortals and immortal deities in it. It has that Silmarillion mythological, classical High Fantasy theme to it. This has never been done by FromSoftware before, so again it is something new and different.

Hey guys, Hidetaka Miyazaki, CEO of FromSoft here. Just dropping by to give you some update on our upcoming title. I can't give out all the detals (you'll learn more at the upcoming TGA in 2,5 weeks, where we'll present you with a full 2 minute long gameplay trailer, as well as more info), but I can disclose a few small things. >the game will feature 4 playable races that will affect your character's looks, size, and some of the weapons and spells available >the game will be an open world with procedually generated dungeons akin to Bloodborne's chalice dungeons >the player can call for help of others to come to his world, albet this will differ slightly from the Dark Souls' system, as the players will be on a time limit >the will be a way to invade other worlds as well, though I can't go into too much detail here >the game will feature a couple of hubs scattered over the world where the player can quick travel and respawn upon death, however there will be no "bonfires" or their equivalents outside of the hubs >the player will be able to traverse the world on foot, or on one of the several mounts available to be bought or found in the world >the game will feature a day and night cycle >the state of the world will also depend on the player's actions, with our "ceremony" system That's all for now guys, sit tight while waiting for the TGA 10.12.20, and please don't forget to check out the new Sekiro update we released recently with the many additional options and several new boss fights! See you soon!
And it was not a Miyazaki game. Why do people keep on with this dumb meme? When we know perfectly well he joined DS3 team after Bloodborne released, which was already 2 years into DS3 development. So he was not involved for vast majority of it. And we know from his own words he NEVER wanted a sequel to Dark Souls, and that he did not write Dark Souls 2 or 3. So after all this well known fact for years and years, how are there still dumbasses that blame the shitty rehashed ideas and designs of DS3 on Miyazaki? It was clearly Tanimura who was behind that.
Ian Rodriguez
wow nice fake leak bro
Alexander Gonzalez
>>a serious lack of references to previous souls games, weapons like Moonlight Greatsword are missing Are you implying that's a bad thing?
Carson Taylor
I wouldn't consider it grim dark, but every place you listed only has a veneer of beauty that is covering up dying or corrupt places. The high fantasy you speak of is a facade and doesn't actually exist.
This. Elden Ring not relying on references to previous games sounds like a positive to me. It was fine in Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne, but Dark Souls 3 took it way too far.
Cooper Morris
>weapons like Moonlight Greatsword are missing You couldn't possibly know this. What, did you scour the game for it? Fuck off retarded larper.
Anthony Watson
>a serious lack of references to previous souls games PLEASE NO MORE FUCKING SWAMPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Mitsubishi told me this himself during my recent Nippon (Japan) trip
Jackson Price
Wrong. There is nothing dying or corrupt about any of those locations I named. Darkroot Forest is not dying or corrupted in any way, the forest is doing very well. Also we see the same forest in daytime in the DLC. Anor Londo is not dying or corrupted in any way, it has just been abandoned by its inhabitants. Ash Lake looks the same as it has looked for all eternity, it is a primordial base of the world where archtrees carry the surface world on top of themselves. Nothing dying or corrupted about it. It's in its normal state.
Jordan Diaz
DS3 did that because Tanimura genuinely can not write for shit or come up with new and imaginative things. There is no concern of that for a Miyazaki game such as Elden Ring.
Evan Smith
yeah there's definitely no big green translucent sword that shoots beams and is associated with a white dragon in sekiro. Nope definitely not.
