When does it get good?

when does it get good?

If you don't enjoy it by the time you fight Hornet, it's probably not for you.

i wonder this too. everyone says "it gets better when you get more abilities", when exactly is this supposed to be? even after unlocking some abilities the game is still boring as hell. it seems like when people talk about the good parts of this game, its pretty much near the end or even post-game.

It gets good around the time you start playing the tutorial.

When you git gud.

It doesn't.

when you finish your third glass of onions

when you have the whole map revealed with all stations open. I still got godmaster and some shit left but I absolutely hated the amount of getting lost and backtracking in this game. random secret walls that are entrances to actual whole areas etc, its just dumb. i like upgrading stuff and challenging bosses so its alright

Trial of Fools is kicking my ass.

Nailmaster's glory is your friend

When you get double jump and wall jump.

Underrated. A lot of people like to shit on nail arts, but they can do a LOT if they're properly set up.

>Nailmaster's glory
I'm using that along with Quick Slash, Mark of Pride, and Unbreakable Heart.

And Soul Catcher too.

Once you get the wall jump.
Dont listen to this retard, everything pre-walljump is a chore.

>everything pre-walljump is a chore.
retard

>unbreakable heart
Is this thing ever actually useful?

Mainly for face tanking when you're figuring out how a boss works.
It's best not to get used to it though for fairly obvious reasons.

It's two rechargeable HP.

I beat the first 2 bosses and dropped it. Pretty meh even for a free game.

>face tanking
The amount of retards just letting the bosses rape them instead of even trying to dodge was sad.

At least Failed Knight and traitor lord exist as a hard reality check for these people

maybe you should get better at exploring the map so you dont need to backtrack as much?

Not that guy, but it's hard to avoid backtracking when you don't have the needed items to proceed when you reach a certain area. This is all standard fare for "Metroidvania" type games.

isn't failed champion optional

It is, but it's one of the fights anyone who bothers with essence is likely going to have.

Technically, but if you want the good ending effectively not.

What is it about that retarded little frog that makes him so endearing?
It's driving me insane

When that piano tune starts playing on the main menu baby

When you press "Start New Game"

When you do, scruboid

Do people really think this single color "minimalist" glorified stick figure shit looks good?

when you uninstall (and get a chargeback on it if you're not a piratechad)
