Egg did nothing wrong
Age of Calamity
getting strong "xenoblade_dancing.webm" cringe vibes from this.
Teba is broken
so were they afraid to make a bad end?
saw the ending on youtube
Nah, likely they realized they couldn't make a full game of the past and make it fun to play
the egg created a new timeline
Apparently they can make Ludo but not Kino
What? So they altered the ending?
Just unlocked Hestu. He seems fun but holy shit, the framerate just begs for mercy when you use him.
I just unlocked the sage dude. Seems pretty resource intensive to upgrade, is he any good?
just emulating the lost forest with his move set then
The fight against Astor at the Master Sword grove already chugged like crazy even while just playing as Link, really going for that BotW Korok Forest feel.
So what exactly should I be doing as Hestu? I just spawn a bunch of Koroks and then use his strong attacks, right?
Where the hell do you get Luminious stones. It seems like the sensor sends you to the wrong locations or points to places where the stones were a one time reward. I just need one more for Zelda.
It's funny how you can tell it's Japanese just by the way they animate people. The way they move and facial expressions.
Maz Koshia? He’s pretty good grinding away enemy weakness gauge at the very least. I’m trying to figure out if I like him to have my three mains to be Impa, Kohga, and him.
YOU JUST KNOW
people are saying teba is op but the more I use the master sword the better it seems to be. Apparantly if you headshot with the bow it forces a weakness gauge, pair that with stasis and things die pretty quickly. Especially if you have full health.
Which game should I get.
HW1 Definitive editon on the switch, or AOC
Teba is probably the best control crowd character to use. He just racks up kills like no tomorrow
And the fact that there's no trannies.
is age of calamity a prequel
because I don't understand why paya is there, unless that's just someone that looks like her
HW1 will give you more bang for your buck since it has a lot more content than AOC.
It's Impa
ahhh gotcha
Is there something important about the story in this game that I should know if I'm interested in the main games or it's just an original story for a side game?
Master sword with full hearts is also really good at crowd control. Almost every attack gets beams and has more range.
It's essentially fanfiction. Maybe some of the stuff is canon, the majority of it is not.
Where did the egg come from?
Cucco Guardian.
It can't be helped. You can tell HW had Nintendo breathing down their neck to ensure KT didn't go full retard on it while you can tell they were more hands off for AoC since they trust KT to handle things.
What the fuck does "all stats" mean for monster extract recipes? Does that include attack speed?
every damn thing is canon for the main plot
I think Teba can cover more ground faster though, at least in my experience
if you like the Zelda franchise as a whole and want more characters, HWDE
if BotW is your first Zelda game or it's your favorite, then Age of Calamity
You're comparing AoC with DE which is HW after two season passes of DLC.
Is the FPS better in the full game? Only played in the demo and I was a little disappointed.
No, but it is generally better on maps other than Hyrule Field and Korok Forest.
No adventure mode and no map management really does a number on the game.
You mean the new timeline bullshit that was created? If they're going to do shit like that just make it a full spinoff game instead of taking the story seriously.
The release version of hyrule warriors still had more content and more interesting scenarios
>Playing The Road Home, Besieged
>Was originally two levels above recommended
>Been having a pretty easy time with the game so far
>Higher level elemental Moblins
>Attacks start eating a quarter of my life, way more relentless
>Higher level mobs that get in more pot shots
>Number of Wizzrobes was exponentially higher than expected, also doing way more damage
>Lose pretty early on
>"Oh shit. Guess the training wheels are off now."
>Restart mission, start using runes and wands more liberally
>Still lose after burning through all resources
>"Yo what the fuck, this difficulty spike is kinda ridiculous."
>Wait a minute
>Go into options
>A couple missions ago, I needed monster parts for a side objective
>figure I could run a basic mission on a higher difficulty and probably get more drops this way
>Do some random mission on Very Hard, get my parts
>"Alright, I should remember to switch back to Normal before playing again"
>Mfw game was still on Very Hard
I'm a SPECIAL boy
thanks user
Age of Calamity is a story about how one fish single handedly kills an ancient evil
Trying to grind out wood for terrako repair request, what's the best map for cutting trees?
So it's fanfiction or not? And if not there is new info about what happened or just the same we learn in BotW?
The new ending is fine
Is a "dragon ball trunks time travel" situation.
japanese """""""""humor""""""""""""""""
I like it just wish they could add the HW characters in the game not a fan of most of the new characters besides daruk and sidon
HW1 has more content but the game has worse combat. It has over a year's worth of DLC so unless you really like the game, you won't get through most of it and the content that is in the game is by nature extremely repetative. AoC is shorter but has a much better combat system and I find to be more engaging. If you like grind, tons of content and are ok with extreme repetition, go with HW1. If you don't care about Zelda at all, just play FEW, its a better game as long as you are neutral on the setting.
Its not like comparing Pirate Warriors 1 and Pirate Warriors 2. AoC doesn't play anything like HW1 other than the basic charge combo system inherent to most musou games. AoC doesn't even have time limits for most missions.
What are you talking about? Its the complete opposite. Nintendo's finger prints are all over AoC. If KT had their way it would be a cheap cashgrab like every other franchise musou before it.
Teba is a chad.
how can an egg be so damn sassy?
>Japanese humor
>prequel gets announced
>lowkey hope they add a new ending to save mipha
>they actually do it
>this won't carry over to 2
My monkey's paw wish wasn't completely answered, but I'll take what I can get. Can't believe this shit happened three times in one year. First FFVIIR, then samurai jack, and now this. It's a good time to be a reverse tragedyfag.
Its official. Yunobo is best girl.
Because it's a huge simp for Zelda.
>No adventure mode and no map management really does a number on the game.
I'll take better combat and bosses that are actually fun to fight over map management. AoC is the first musou in a long time where I actually have fun in the combat and not just in the strategy and time trial aspects.
>The release version of hyrule warriors still had more content and more interesting scenarios
It had more missions but lets be honest, adventure map missions are just a step above randomly generated and the game has more characters with movesets that are nearly double the size of the HW1 characters.
the story involves time travel which completely changes everything pre-calamity in botw
>The new ending is fine
assuming you played botw, no it isn't
I used Yunobo only one time to try him out in his training map. I actually lost because he's so slow and enemies weren't spawning in large enough numbers for me to rack up enough KOs before the time ran out.
Nope'd out of that map hard and will never use him again.
It is fanfiction. It's just a musou game, user, nobody gives a shit about them.
Its almost completely different from what we see in BotW. The "timeline" changes almost immediately as soon as the game starts and everything from halfway through mission 1 onwards is non-canon to BotW.
It's fine and has no effect on the original game because it's an damn alternate timeline.
I like it because BotW's story stays pure instead of raped like in FF7R.
how is the weapon selection in this game?
hw only had like 3 tiers of weapons does this have more?
