Samurai Showdown was just a mediocre game overall. Literally the only reason why the FG community pushed it was because it was an old franchise, but outside of Inoha being coomerbait, the game had nothing much going for it.
Successful coomerbaits, like the major mobile titles (FGO, GBV, etc.), actually have decent gameplay that's better than most give them credit for. Skinner boxes they may be, they still provide at least some semblance of fun and good presentation.
